Honoring 74 outstanding Young Teachers of Dong Nai province in 2025

As part of the Dong Nai Youth Festival Cluster 3, held at Bien Hung Park (Tran Bien ward) on the morning of November 15, the Provincial Youth Union and the Department of Education and Training jointly organized a ceremony to honor the outstanding young teachers of Dong Nai Province in 2025.

Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, stated that as the country undergoes profound transformation, young teachers and lecturers play a pivotal role in imparting knowledge and skills; helping students adapt to and master technology and digital thinking; fostering creativity; and developing the qualities and competencies essential for citizens in the digital era.

In recent times, many teachers have taken the lead in applying information technology, digital platforms, and modern teaching methods to develop STEM projects and digital transformation initiatives, while encouraging students to engage in scientific research, cultivate creative thinking, and participate in science and technology innovation competitions. Through these efforts, students in the province gain greater confidence and preparation for international integration.

Alongside their professional duties, young teachers also play a key role in movements of the Youth Unions, Student Associations, and Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organizations within schools. They ignite enthusiasm and lead the implementation and organization of emulation movements and experiential activities. Through these revolutionary action programs and membership training programs, the role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in identifying, nurturing, and developing outstanding members for potential admission to the Party is clearly demonstrated.

To honor typical young teachers with outstanding achievements in their professional duties and active participation in Youth Union, Student Association, Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, and social activities, over the past seven years, the Provincial Youth Union and the Department of Education and Training have maintained the Outstanding Young Teacher Awards of Dong Nai province. Over this period, 374 young teachers have been honored. In 2025 alone, the Provincial Youth Union selected and honored 74 Outstanding Young Teachers. These teachers exemplify the youth of Dong Nai who are actively contributing to the province’s development into a prosperous, strong, and civilized region, representing the new generation of Dong Nai’s youth.

On this occasion, Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, expressed hope that in the time ahead, young teachers will continue to receive attention, support, and favorable conditions from all levels and sectors to pursue learning, self-improvement, and professional development. This occasion will enable them to significantly enhance their expertise, political qualities, and revolutionary ethics, thereby contributing even more to the development of a prosperous and powerful Vietnam.

At the program, delegates viewed reports featuring several exemplary young teachers and listened to young educators from various fields share their experiences during an exchange session themed “Proud to be a teacher – The silent ferrymen on the river of knowledge.” On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union also presented certificates of merit and commemorative plaques to 74 outstanding young teachers.
