With a young and abundant labor force whose quality is increasingly enhanced through training programs, Dong Nai effectively meets the labor demands of enterprises, particularly in the processing, manufacturing, high-tech, and logistics industries. These are rapidly growing sectors that offer significant employment opportunities, while also posing challenges in ensuring a supply of skilled and specialized human resources.
In 2025, enterprises in the province are expected to recruit 160 thousand workers. Forecasts for 2026 indicate that when Long Thanh International Airport officially begins operation, along with the development of the Long Thanh Airport City urban area and the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) connected to Long Thanh Airport, the labor market in Dong Nai will become even more dynamic, driving recruitment demand up by an estimated 55 thousand workers.

Although Dong Nai’s labor market holds significant potential, a shortage of highly skilled workers remains in certain occupations that require advanced technical expertise. As such, stronger linkages between vocational education institutions and enterprises are essential. This endeavor not only presents an opportunity to supply high-quality labor but also serves as a solution to enhance worker skills, better meeting the development needs of both enterprises and the provincial labor market.

Delegates also expressed a desire for departments, sectors, enterprises, and training institutions to collaborate in building a sustainable labor ecosystem that meets the demands of modern industrial development and supports national key projects located in the province.
On this occasion, the National Center for Employment Services and the Employment Service Center of Dong Nai province signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two units. This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation, improve the effectiveness of worker support and labor market connectivity, and contribute to the development of high-quality human resources for Dong Nai province.
