During the 2021–2025 period, the women’s movement and activities of the Trang Bom commune Women’s Union witnessed significant progress both in terms of content and innovative approaches. The union maintained the effectiveness of various models such as the “5 Nos, 3 Cleans” family-building club, the club for the prevention of violence against women and children, and actively participated in the “Exchange waste for gifts” program promoting waste sorting at source. Environmental protection and new-style rural development activities were enhanced through models like the “Women’s group responsible for plastic waste collection” and the management of 18 “Bright – green – clean – beautiful” streets.

Throughout the tenure, the commune admitted 379 new members, bringing the total number of women members to nearly 9,000, with a membership coverage rate exceeding 80%. The union also introduced 12 outstanding members to the Party for further training and admission consideration.

For the 2025–2030 tenure, the Trang Bom commune Women’s Union has identified three breakthrough areas and five key tasks, focusing on promoting digital transformation within the organization, supporting women in improving digital competence, assisting women’s entrepreneurship, advancing gender equality, and building a more professional union structure. The union aims to increase membership by at least 5% and ensure that 90% of grassroots leaders receive professional training.
