Supervising the implementation of projects approved by the Provincial People's Council in the 2021-2025 period

On October 13, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council announced the decision to establish a delegation to supervise the implementation of projects that the Provincial People's Council decided on investment policies in the 2021-2025 period. At the working session, Huynh Viet Cuong, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee, Dong Nai Provincial People's Council announced Decision No. 22/QD-HDND dated September 10, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial People's Council to establish a delegation to supervise the implementation of projects decided by the Provincial People's Council for investment in the 2021-2025 period. Accordingly, the supervision will be conducted towards agencies, including: the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, and Provincial Land Fund Development Center.

Also according to the decision, Tran Van Mi, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council will be Head of the supervision delegation; Huynh Viet Cuong, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee, Dong Nai Provincial People's Council will be the deputy head of the delegation. Members of the supervision delegation include leaders of the Provincial People's Council committees, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, representatives of the State Treasury of Region XVII, representatives of departments and branches...

The monitoring activities aim to evaluate the results of implementing Provincial People's Council resolutions on deciding on investment policies and adjusting investment policies for projects (including public investment projects and investment projects under the public-private partnership model). The working group will also grasp and synthesize the opinions and recommendations of agencies and units on difficulties and obstacles in implementing the projects. They will promptly recommend to relevant superior leaders solutions to direct and guide the continued implementation of projects that have been decided on investment policies by the Provincial People's Council and adjusted investment policies to ensure efficiency and timeliness to contribute to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security maintenance in the province in the 2021-2025 period and the following years. According to the plan, the group will conduct on-site supervision of 4 projects in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Van Mich said: According to the thematic supervision program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council established two supervision delegations on the settlement of complaints and denunciations and investment policies of public investment projects. Regarding the supervision of the implementation of projects, the Provincial People's Council decided on investment policies for the 2021-2025 period in the province, which will be basically completed by October 20, 2025 for approval by the Provincial People's Committee leadership.
