Nha Bich Commune: from the “foundation” of the Party resolution to every step in practice

Following the success of the 1st Party Congress of Nha Bich Commune for the 2025–2030 tenure, the local government has quickly and comprehensively implemented various measures to bring the resolution into life. This effort reflects not only a sense of duty but also the wholehearted commitment and determination of the entire political system and the people of the commune.

Efforts to turn the resolution into reality

After the merger of the three communes Minh Lap, Minh Thang, and Nha Bich, the newly formed Nha Bich Commune Party Organization faced a major challenge of how to build consensus, establish a unified development direction, and simultaneously tap into the internal strengths of each area and community. The 1st Party Congress of Nha Bich Commune for the 2025–2030 term marked an important milestone. During the congress, key issues on planning, infrastructure, agricultural development, and particularly the preservation of cultural identity were discussed with great enthusiasm.

The congress defined five key tasks, three breakthrough programs, and eighteen specific development targets. These objectives reflect both continuity and strategic vision, aligned with the local post-merger context, aiming to effectively harness the commune’s potential and advantages, overcome challenges, and build Nha Bich into a commune with rapid spatial and urban development, a high-quality and environmentally friendly living environment, and a strong cultural identity.

Regarding the dissemination and implementation of the resolution across the commune, Nguyen Thi Hai Van, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Nha Bich Commune Party Committee, shared: “Right after the successful organization of the 1st Commune Party Congress, the Party Committee issued resolutions and action programs to realize the targets set at the congress. The Party Committee also identified communication enhancement as a key task to build unity in both thought and action, ensuring that the resolution is truly brought to life.”

According to the implementation plan, the Party Committee has assigned specific responsibilities and tasks to each Party organization within the commune. The implementation process remains closely connected to grassroots realities, allowing timely adjustments to achieve the commune’s overarching goals: promoting solidarity, preserving cultural values, nurturing kindness and friendliness among residents, mobilizing all available resources, and improving people’s living standards.

Public consensus – The driving force behind concrete actions

Through the implementation of the Party resolution, with broad public consensus and a spirit of unity, creativity, and determination in action, Nha Bich has been gradually transforming, showing visible changes in every hamlet and neighborhood.

Expressing satisfaction with the local development progress, Party member Tran Van Dung (resident of Minh Thang 3 Hamlet, Nha Bich Commune) said: “Both Party members and residents highly agree with the commune’s policies and orientations. Nha Bich still remains largely agricultural, and in the coming time, people hope to apply scientific and technological advances, along with improved animal breeds and crop varieties, to enhance product quality. This will help bring our local agricultural products to both domestic and international markets, increasing their value chains.”

Minh Thang 3 Hamlet, home to 232 households and 885 residents, has organized public meetings to disseminate the Party Congress resolution and the hamlet’s conventions and regulations. The overwhelming majority of residents expressed strong agreement and support.

Le Thi Khuyen, Head of Minh Thang 3 Hamlet, expressed her hope that the Commune Party Committee will ensure effective implementation so that the resolution becomes a true “foundation” for all-round socio-economic development and for improving people’s livelihoods.

In the economic sector, Nha Bich Commune remains steadfast in its goal to restructure the economy in tandem with innovation-driven growth, taking innovation, science, technology, and digital transformation as its primary engines. The commune is vigorously promoting three breakthrough programs to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and overall competitiveness. By the end of the 2025–2030 term, Nha Bich aims to achieve: an average annual growth of at least 10% in total state budget revenue; an average annual increase of 10–12% in total product value; the establishment of two new cooperatives; and at least two OCOP-certified products rated three stars or higher.

Nguyen Thi Minh Tien, Vice Chairwoman of the Nha Bich Commune People’s Committee, stated: “The Commune People’s Committee has developed an action plan, directing its departments and specialized divisions to concretize the Party Congress resolution. The focus is on improving the performance and responsibility of officials and civil servants and developing practical solutions to achieve set goals.”

From now until the end of 2025, Nha Bich Commune will carry out several key initiatives, including a thematic seminar scheduled to be held on October 13 on promoting the role of enterprises and entrepreneurs in coordination with local government efforts for socio-economic development. The event will serve to showcase Nha Bich’s people, culture, and signature products; promoting ecotourism development around Phuoc Hoa Lake, through the program to discover the source of all streams, to spread the value of gong culture of the S’tieng and Khmer ethnic groups.

Alongside economic development, the commune also focuses on improving education and healthcare quality, enriching the spiritual life of residents, and strengthening national defense, security, and social order to create a stable environment for sustainable development. Moreover, the commune is implementing its Breakthrough Program on private economic development, which includes policy and planning orientation, land-use prioritization for production and services, infrastructure improvement, access to credit, workforce training, and start-up encouragement. These efforts aim to unlock agricultural, trade, and service potential, increase incomes, and create sustainable employment for local residents. By the end of the term, the average income per capita is expected to increase by 40–45% compared to 2025.

The initial outcomes already demonstrate the strong political determination and tireless efforts of the Party Organization, government, and people of Nha Bich Commune in translating the Party Congress resolution into action. It is believed that with the right direction and united efforts, Nha Bich is poised for continued robust development in the years ahead, on its journey to becoming a prosperous and civilized commune.
