With the approval of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Dong Nai People’s Committee, the ARSIE will organize the gathering for women who were imprisoned during the resistance wars against the French colonialism and the American imperialism, commonly known as the “Long-Haired Army”
At the get-together, alongside watching documentary footage, delegates will have the opportunity to meet and exchange with three female political prisoners under the themes: “Women’s Union cadres devote their lives to the liberation of women”; “Women’s Union cadres serve as communication and transport officers, sheltering and supporting revolutionary soldiers in enemy-occupied areas”; and “The bravery of women in revolutionary armed forces (as commune militia deputy chiefs and guerrilla leaders).”
The program, expected to draw more than 300 participants, will take place on October 15, 2025, at Dong Nai University.
