Farmers’ Associations of wards and communes hold the 1st Congresses, term 2025-2030

On October 17, Farmers’ Associations in localities across Dong Nai province held the 1st Congresses, term 2025-2030 to evaluate association work and farmers’ movements; and set directions and tasks for the new term.

* On the afternoon of October 17, the Farmers’ Association of An Loc ward held its 1st Congress, for the term 2025-2030. The congress was attended by 90 exemplary members representing more than 2,770 officials and farmer members throughout the ward.

During the 2023-2025 period, the association's work and the farmers’ movement of An Loc ward achieved impressive results. The association organization continued to be consolidated and developed strongly with 2,779 members, participating in activities in 29 branches and 118 groups.

The movement titled: “Farmers emulate in good production and business, uniting to help one another get rich and sustainably reduce poverty” was widely implemented, with 2,577 households registering as good production and business farmers, with an annual average of over 80%, a total of 872 households recognized, with many exemplary models replicated. Up to now, the ward has 8 OCOP products from 7 entities recognized; 2 products (free-range chicken and Thanh Luong leather-skinned longan) have been granted collective trademark protection certificates by the Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Science and Technology.

For the 2025-2030 term, the ward Farmers’ Association set 12 targets, 3 breakthroughs, and 6 key tasks to implement.

The congress approved the decision to appoint 29 delegates to the Executive Committee of the Farmers’ Association of An Loc ward, term 2025-2030. Nguyen Ly Thanh Tam continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of the ward for the new term. At the same time, 4 official delegates were appointed to attend the 1st Congress of the Farmers’ Association of Dong Nai province, term 2025-2030.

The Farmers’ Association of Binh Phuoc ward currently has 38 branches with more than 3,080 members. In the past term, the association closely followed the Party’s resolution, concretized and proposed directions and tasks suitable to the conditions of each branch. As a result, the association has achieved important changes in many aspects, many targets were met and exceeded compared to the set plan, the association’s position was increasingly enhanced, becoming the core center in emulation movements, contributing to effectively implementing the economic-social development goals set by the ward Party Committee’s resolution.

With the spirit of “Solidarity - democracy - innovation - cooperation - development,” the congress set 13 targets, 5 main solutions, and 3 breakthrough areas. They are about strongly innovating content, methods, and improving the quality of propaganda and mobilization of officials, members, and farmers in the digital environment; developing effective economic models and mobilizing, guiding, and supporting farmers to participate in collective economic models and digital agricultural economy in production and business activities; as well as mobilizing farmers to actively implement the construction of a civilized, modern urban area and environmental protection.

The congress also announced the decision to appoint personnel to the Executive Committee of the Farmers’ Association of Binh Phuoc ward, term 2025-2030, with 31 members. Nguyen Tho Dam, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, holds the position of Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Binh Phuoc ward, term 2025-2030; 4 official delegates were appointed to attend the 1st Congress of Delegates of the Farmers’ Association of Dong Nai province, term 2025-2030.

* After a day of working in an urgent and serious spirit, the 1st Congress of the Farmers’ Association of Thien Hung commune, term 2025-2030, concluded on the afternoon of October 17.

During the 2023-2025 period, the Farmers’ Association of Thien Hung commune admitted 320 new members, bringing the total to 2,500 members across 24 branches and 92 groups. The movement titled: “Farmers emulate in good production and business” spread widely with the participation of more than 1,600 farmer households. Among them, 980 households achieved the title annually. The whole commune had 9 additional OCOP products rated with 3 stars or higher, contributing to affirming the local agricultural product brand in the market. Thanks to entrusted loans, more than 1,000 households received loans to develop the economy.

The congress announced the superior decisions on appointing personnel to the Executive Committee of the Farmers’ Association of Thien Hung commune, for the term 2025-2030, including 21 members; 3 delegates were elected to attend the 1st Congress of the Farmers’ Association of Dong Nai province, term 2025-2030. Tran Thi Thuy Hang was appointed Chairwoman of the Farmers’ Association of Thien Hung commune, for the term 2025-2030.

In the past term, the Farmers’ Association of Tan Khai commune admitted 152 members, raising the total to 1,661 members. The entire commune had 515 households achieving the title of farmers good at production and business, 3 exemplary cooperatives, 5 cooperative groups in cultivation and animal husbandry, and 4 OCOP products. From capital sources of the Bank for Social Policies, the Farmers’ Support Fund, and the Mutual Support Fund, the association mobilized over 23.8 billion VND, supporting more than 610 household loans to develop production models.

The congress approved the resolution for the 2025-2030 term with 12 targets, notably: annually admitting 50 new members; training and coaching 500 good production and business farmers at provincial-level and grassroots-level; building at least 1 good production and business model, 2 occupational branches, 1 cooperative group; striving to increase the farmers’ support fund by 50 million VND each year.

On this occasion, the congress announced the decisions to appoint 26 delegates to the Executive Committee of the Farmers’ Association of Tan Khai commune, term 2025-2030. Le Thanh Lam, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, holds the position of Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of the commune for the new term. Three official delegates were appointed to attend the 1st Congress of the Farmers’ Association of Dong Nai province, term 2025-2030.

In the past term, the association work and farmers’ movement of Loc Ninh commune achieved many outstanding results. It promoted its core role in agricultural economic development and new-style rural construction; mobilizing members to emulate in good production and business, uniting to help one another get rich and sustainably reduce poverty. Annually, more than 700 households are registered, of which more than 250 households achieve the title of good production and business farmers at various levels.

To support farmers in economic development, the association coordinated with the Bank for Social Policies to provide capital sources to support farmers in economic development, with a total outstanding loan of more than 30 billion VND. At the same time, the association also mobilized members to voluntarily contribute more than 1 billion VND and 550 working days to build and maintain, repair, and upgrade transportation routes and build, repair cultural houses.

Trinh Thi Tiep, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, was appointed Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Loc Ninh commune, term I, 2025-2030.
