Enhancing quality of emulation movements among members and farmers

During the past term, the work and movements of Phu Rieng commune Farmers’ Association have constantly innovated in content and operation methods, effectively promoting its role as a core organization representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of farmers. The association has launched extensive emulation movements that have attracted a large number of members to participate in. The movement “Farmers compete in good production and business, uniting to help one another get rich and reduce poverty sustainably” has achieved positive results, with all targets set by the previous Congress met or exceeded.

In his speech, Member of the PPC, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF and Chairman of Dong Nai Farmers’ Association Nguyen Huu Nguyen commended the achievements that the Phu Rieng commune Farmers’ Association has gained in recent years.

He requested that the Farmers’ Association continue building a strong and comprehensive organization that serves as a reliable support for local farmers and acts as a bridge between farmers and the Party and government. The association should enhance the quality of emulation movements and inspire farmers’ aspiration to prosper, focusing particularly on the good farmers in production and business movement. It is also essential to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of service and support activities for members, proactively connect financial sources, scientific and technical resources, vocational training, and e-commerce skills so that farmers not only produce well but also sell effectively. In addition, the association should step up its supervision and social feedback roles while actively participating in Party and government building, as well as in maintaining political security and social order at the grassroots level.

At the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Farmers’ Association announced its decision to appoint members to the Executive Committee of the Phu Rieng Commune Farmers’ Association for the 2025–2030 term. Hoang Thanh Nam was appointed as Chairman of Phu Rieng Commune Farmers’ Association for the 2025-2030 term.
