On the afternoon of October 20, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a gathering of female leaders and managers to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) and the 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20).

Attending the meeting were comrades Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council; Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province; and Tran Trung Nhan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission.

Also present were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; female members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; female heads and deputy heads of Party-building committees, provincial departments, agencies, and mass organizations; the Office of the Provincial Party Committee; the Delegation of the National Assembly and the Provincial People’s Council and People’s Committee; committees of the Provincial People’s Council; the Provincial School of Politics; Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television; as well as female standing members of commune and ward Party Committees and leader of Tin Nghia Corporation.

At the gathering, Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women’s Union, reviewed the 95-year history of the Vietnam Women’s Union and the 15-year journey of Vietnamese Women’s Day. She also affirmed that: female leaders and managers at all levels, regardless of their positions, have upheld the traditional values and noble qualities of Vietnamese women, making significant contributions to the province’s and the nation’s renewal and integration efforts. Successive generations of female leaders and managers in the province have increasingly demonstrated their roles and positions across all spheres of social life, further enriching the proud tradition of Vietnamese women.

During the gathering, provincial leaders and delegates attended a thematic session titled “Promoting the Courage, Intelligence, and Leadership Skills of Female Cadres in Dong Nai province in the New Era.” Female leaders and managers at all levels also shared experiences from work and life, discussed leadership and management skills, and addressed challenges facing women in leadership positions in the current context.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council, who has held numerous leadership roles, including at the Central Vietnam Women's Union, shared that female leaders and managers often carry multiple responsibilities both at home and in society. To fulfill these roles effectively, each must commit to self-discipline and continuous effort to live up to the trust and expectations placed in them by the provincial leadership and the broader community.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, stated that: in recent years, building a contingent of capable and virtuous cadres in general and female cadres in particular, who are dedicated to serving the nation and the province, has always been a priority for the Provincial Party Committee. The goal is to ensure women’s participation in leadership and management roles, thereby enhancing their contributions to political activities and gradually increasing both the number and quality of female cadres in the political system.

Comrade Vo Tan Duc affirmed that: with their self-reliance, perseverance, solidarity, diligence, and creativity, female leaders and managers at all levels in the province have consistently demonstrated unity, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility in their work. They have been proactive and determined in self-improvement, striving to become modern women with good health, knowledge, moral integrity, and dynamic, creative working skills, increasingly asserting their competence, courage, and intellect in the political sphere.

Entering a new era, female cadres in Dong Nai province shoulder growing responsibilities, calling for continuous effort to elevate their roles and standing both within their families and in society. They are encouraged to strengthen their digital transformation and leadership capacities, to think boldly, act decisively, and take responsibility for the common good, joining hands to build a more prosperous homeland and nation.
