At the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Loc Thanh Commune, term 2025-2030 (Front Congress), 52 individuals were nominated to join the VFF Committee of the commune. Among these members, 14 are representatives of ethnic minorities and 12 are religious followers.

The participation of representatives of ethnic minorities and religions in the VFF Committee of Loc Thanh Commune for the 2025-2030 term is also a common feature of the personnel of all communes and wards in Dong Nai province after completing the Front Congress.
Uniting ethnic minorities, religions
As of now, 94 out of 95 communes and wards in Dong Nai province have completed their Front congresses. Approximately 5,000 individuals have been nominated to join the great national unity house - the VFF Committee at the commune and ward levels. Among them are nearly 1,000 ethnic minority and religious people.
In Dong Nai province, out of a total population of nearly 4.5 million, there are nearly 2.5 million religious followers and nearly 406,000 ethnic minority people. Connecting typical ethnic minority and religious followers to participate in the VFF Committees at all levels has built bridges to bring the Party's and State's guidelines and policies and patriotic emulation movements launched by the Front closer and faster to the people. At the same time, these individuals are also channels for receiving the thoughts, feelings, and aspirations of the people to convey them to the Party committees and authorities for timely consideration and resolution for the people.
Bui Anh Khoa, Chairman of the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward, said: Determining that the Front Congress is a broad political campaign among people of all strata; actively contributing to the goal of promoting the great national unity bloc... therefore, during the preparation for organizing the Front Congress, the locality mobilized and encouraged outstanding individuals in the community to participate in the official delegation and the presidium of the Front Congress. At the same time, among the 53 members of the VFF Committee of Dong Xoai Ward for the new term, there are 7 representatives of ethnic minorities and 6 representatives of religions.
According to Nguyen Hai Bang, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tri An Commune, Tri An Commune has over 51,000 people. Among them, there are over 12,000 religious followers and ethnic minority people. During the organization of the Front Congress, among the 52 individuals nominated to the VFF Committee of the commune, there are 10 typical religious dignitaries and ethnic minority people.
Venerable Thich Minh Dat, a new member of the VFF Committee of Tri An Commune, said: Through the call of the VFF Committee of the commune, he actively participated in the presidium directing the commune's Front Congress. In addition, during the congress program, he was nominated to be a member of the commune's VFF Committee.
During the ward and commune-level Front congresses, ethnic minority and religious delegates also actively participated in contributing ideas to build and approve the Front congress resolutions.
The communal VFF Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, is not only an important political event for the locality but also an opportunity to review the past journey, affirm the achievements, draw lessons learned, and thereby determine the direction and tasks in the new period, contributing to realizing aspirations, building sustainable developing communes and wards, and together with Dong Nai province and the whole country entering a new era - an era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.

Promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc
According to Comrade Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee, for the commune-level Front congress to truly become a political activity of the entire people, the Provincial Standing Committee of the VFF Committee requested all localities to ensure that the key tasks of the Front's work at the commune and ward levels in the new term must closely follow the resolutions of the first Party Congresses of the communes and wards for the 2025-2030 term. The delegation attending the Front Congress must fully represent all social strata, ethnic groups, and religions present in the area. In particular, the content of promoting the strength of great national unity must be made a key task of the Front's work. The provincial VFF determined that awakening the internal strength of the great national unity bloc is a key and frequent task.
Therefore, at all commune and ward Front congresses, delegates unanimously voted to include the proposition: "Promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc" in the Front congress resolution and considered this a key task of the Front's work for the next 5 years.
Nguyen Ngoc Thao An, Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Tran Bien Ward, said: At the Tran Bien Ward Front Congress, 200 delegates representing people of all strata in the ward unanimously set forth the key task of: Consolidating the great national unity bloc and building Tran Bien Ward towards comprehensive development.
According to Nguyen Tan Hung, Chairman of the VFF Committee of Long Thanh Commune: At the commune Front Congress, delegates voted to approve the congress resolution, which identified the key task as promoting the strength of great national unity to build Long Thanh Commune into a central urban area.
To effectively implement the task of promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, according to comrade Ha Anh Dung: The Front will proactively listen, gather opinions and recommendations from the people to participate in Party building and government building; at the same time, supervise the implementation of policies, ensuring that all policies are aimed at the ultimate goal of serving the legitimate and rightful interests of the people. In addition, the Front will promote the application of digital technology to quickly and effectively listen to and gather opinions and recommendations from the people, firmly consolidating social consensus, and transforming the strength of unity into specific revolutionary actions.
