Creating combined strength to develop Phuoc Long into a civilized, modern ward

In the past term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, Phuoc Long ward, Dong Nai province, has promoted its tradition of solidarity, unity, proactiveness, and innovation, focusing on leading and directing the comprehensive implementation of political tasks and achieving positive results.

Promoting the strengths and traditions of the locality, after administrative boundary rearrangement, Phuoc Long ward has a solid foundation to confidently enter a period of rapid, sustainable growth, for the good life of its people.

NEW MOMENTUM

Phuoc Long ward was established by merging Thac Mo, Long Thuy, Son Giang wards and Phuoc Tin commune of former Phuoc Long town with an area of 71.87km2, a population of over 33,000 people, and a relatively synchronous socio-economic infrastructure.

In the 2020-2025 term, the socio-economic targets of Phuoc Long ward achieved stable growth; the urban and rural appearance became increasingly spacious, clean, and beautiful; production and business activities remained effective. Technical infrastructure was invested in a focused manner, creating momentum for socio-economic development; education, science - technology continued to innovate. The quality of education and training was increasingly improved.

Immediately after the successful 1st Party Congress of Phuoc Long Ward, for the 2025-2030 term, the spirit of putting the resolution into practice was not just a slogan, but was concretized by the Executive Committee of Phuoc Long Ward Party Committee through actions, from setting targets, assigning responsibilities to mobilizing resources for the locality to achieve breakthrough development in the next term. Assigned tasks were clear in terms of people and work.

Breakthrough stages in the 2025-2030 term of Phuoc Long ward: Proactively applying science - technology, innovation, and applying digital transformation in the activities of agencies in the political system and in the activities of enterprises manufacturing and processing agricultural products; developing trade, ecological tourism services, resorts, experiences... to become an increasingly important economic sector, moving towards being a spearhead in the local economic structure; building a team of cadres and civil servants at all levels with firm political integrity, upright ethical qualities, and professional capacity meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.

Therefore, each Party cell promotes propaganda in residential areas about targets, tasks, and breakthrough stages. I believe that with the solidarity and joint efforts of Party members and the people; along with specific and practical decisions and directions for the actual conditions, Phuoc Long will develop in all aspects."

Synchronous solutions immediately after the 1st Party Congress of Phuoc Long Ward, for the 2025-2030 term, created new momentum, affirming the determination of the local Party committee and authorities in successfully implementing the resolution, opening up a term of breakthrough development.

PROMOTING TOURISM STRENGTHS

Phuoc Long ward is a land with many outstanding potentials for tourism and service development. Especially, after the merger, the space and regional advantages were expanded and synchronously connected. This place proudly owns historical and cultural landmarks such as: Ba Ra mountain, Thac Mo hydroelectric lake, Road 14 - Phuoc Long Campaign Museum, Nguyen Thi Dinh Memorial Garden, along with specialized fruit growing areas in Bau Nghe.

These advantages not only create ideal conditions for developing resort tourism, back-to-the-root tourism and experiential tourism, but also contribute to shaping Phuoc Long into a service-tourism-ecological center associated with the province's culture and history. Le Thi Hong Thuy, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, expressed: "I am quite impressed with Phuoc Long's tourism resources, especially its cultural tourism, historical tourism, and experiential tourism products. In my opinion, the solutions implemented by the locality to promote sustainable tourism development will create attractive tourism products for visitors."

Phuoc Long, on the basis of merging  administrative boundaries, has clearly defined its key development orientation as focusing on exploiting and effectively promoting its existing potentials and strengths in geographical location, natural landscapes, large-scale specialized fruit cultivation, and a system of cultural and historical relics. In parallel, the government focuses on promotion, linking with travel agencies inside and outside the province; at the same time, it awakens pride and responsibility in preserving the landscape, ecological environment, and national cultural identity, gradually asserting its position as an attractive destination on the tourism map of Dong Nai province.

THE POWER OF CONSENSUS

For the 2025-2030 term, the overall goal of Phuoc Long ward is: To build a transparent, strong, and comprehensive Party organization and political system; enhance the leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations and the effectiveness and efficiency of state governance; develop a contingent of cadres and civil servants with qualities and capabilities that meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; promote the great strength of national unity; and ensure social welfare and continuously improve the material and spiritual life of the people. By 2030, Phuoc Long ward aims to gradually become a civilized and modern urban area, achieving a harmonious development between economy, culture, society, and environment, becoming an attractive destination for investors and tourists, and a source of pride for the people in the new development era.

In reality, each period will have intertwined difficulties and challenges. However, promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, fostering the spirit of solidarity, and the will to innovate and create, Phuoc Long has determined its aspiration for development is always linked to the goal of people's happiness, considering this the highest measure for sustainable development in the new term.

Thereby, the Party's resolution will be brought into life, becoming a driving force for the sustainable development of the locality."

The journey ahead holds many opportunities and new fortunes, but also numerous difficulties and challenges. However, the entire Party Orgnization, people, and armed forces of Phuoc Long ward will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement; potentials and advantages; maintain solidarity, unite to overcome challenges, and be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the first Party Congress of Phuoc Long ward, 2025-2030 term, together with Dong Nai and the whole country to enter a new era, an era of national ascent.
