The 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure, the first congress since the merger of the former Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces, was successfully held, creating an atmosphere of excitement and unity across the province. The spirit of “Solidarity – pioneering – breakthrough – integration – development” from the Congress has been, and will continue to be strongly spread among people of all strata.

Following the Congress through live broadcasts and media coverage by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRTV), residents across the province expressed strong agreement and high consensus with the Congress’s contents. With the spirit of “facing the truth directly, evaluating it accurately, and speaking it clearly,” the Congress comprehensively and objectively reviewed the outcomes of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure, highlighted lessons learned, advantages, challenges, and limitations, thereby setting out the perspectives, goals, and solutions for the 2025–2030 period to ensure rapid and sustainable development for Dong Nai.
To Thi Hue, a resident of Long Binh ward, Dong Nai, shared: “I am very pleased that the provincial merger has opened a larger development space for Dong Nai. The implementation of the two-tier local government model has also made administrative procedures more convenient for citizens. I was especially impressed that the 1st Provincial Party Congress clearly recognized both the strengths and shortcomings, and from that, outlined specific visions, directions, and goals for Dong Nai’s development. I truly hope the province will continue to grow rapidly, synchronously, and sustainably, especially in improving infrastructure and people’s living standards.”
“With intertwined opportunities and challenges, the 1st Provincial Party Congress engaged in lively discussions to select development orientations and solutions for Dong Nai to move forward with confidence and strength into a new era, powered by the unity, determination, and internal strength of the entire Party organization. The strength of Dong Nai lies in the unity of more than 131,000 Party members and nearly 4.5 million residents. We will rely on that strength to turn the resolution of the Congress into reality.”
Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC), and Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Council, stated at the panel discussion: Dong Nai joins the nation in advancing into a new era on October 2.
Dieu Than, a member of the M’Nong ethnic group living in Tho Son commune’s hamlet 5 and currently Head of Bu Dang community forest protection team, said: “Following the success of the communual Party and Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses, the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, the local ethnic communities are very excited about the outcomes. The Congress has set out clear orientations and socio-economic development measures to promote the province’s comprehensive growth.”
It can be seen that the viewpoints, goals, tasks, and solutions set for the 2025–2030 term are not only serve as a guideline for the Dong Nai’s Party organization to strive toward in the next five years, but also reflect the highest determination, decisive action spirit, and strong political commitment of the Provincial Party Executive Board, honoring the legacy of previous generations, meeting the expectations of Party and State leaders, and, above all, fulfilling the aspirations of the people across the province.
In the spirit of the Secretary’s direction, and amid the excitement following the successful, united, and aspirational Congress, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, localities, agencies, and citizens have begun outlining specific plans to contribute to the province’s development and to realize the resolution from the very first days.
As a border commune with a large ethnic minority population and a rich revolutionary tradition, Loc Thanh is determined to bring the Congress resolution into daily life. Nguyen Ngoc Hien, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Council of Loc Thanh commune, shared: “With solidarity, responsibility, and high political determination, the Party organization, authorities and people of Loc Thanh commune are committed to promoting the border area’s potential, improving the well-being of residents, especially ethnic minorities, and developing the Loc Thanh commune rapidly and sustainably.”
For every citizen, personal development and contribution to the homeland’s progress is not only a civic duty but also an honor and a source of pride. Dieu Than added: “I, as well as other ethnic minorities, will strive to do our jobs well, fulfill our family and civic responsibilities, build cultural families, educate our children, and contribute to the commune’s and province’s development.”
The Congress spirit has reignited enthusiasm, sharpened willpower, and inspired action and dedication among people from cities to rural areas, from urban centers to remote border regions. Everyone expressed deep confidence in the Party’s wise leadership and the State’s governance, which will soon turn visions and aspirations into tangible development achievements.
Meanwhile, as a Youth Union member preparing for the 2026 National High School Graduation Exam, Le Nguyen Phuong Anh, a 12th grader of Class 12A8 at Nguyen Trai high school in Long Binh ward said: “I am deeply grateful to our forefathers who sacrificed for peace and independence, allowing me to study in this environment of peace and freedom. I also appreciate the efforts of the Party and local leaders through generations for leading our homeland to continuous progress. In this new era following the provincial merger, I plan to study marketing, a field that meets future market demands, to contribute to the development of Dong Nai and the nation as a whole.”
