With the spirited motto of "Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Development," the Bu Gia Map Party Committee is transforming political will into tangible commitments, aiming to bring the resolution into reality from the very first days of the new tenure.
Building on achievements, charting a strategic vision
During the previous tenure, the most notable achievement of the Bu Gia Map commune Party Committee was its commitment to "sustainable poverty reduction". From 2021 to 2024, the commune successfully lifted 350 households out of poverty. The construction and renovation of 266 homes, along with the provision of 554 livestock animals, primarily cows, significantly transformed this border area and reinforced the trust of ethnic minority communities in the Party's leadership.
The Party Congress of Bu Gia Map commune for the 2025-2030 term outlined a strategic vision for the new era: "Strengthen the Party building and a clean, strong political system; leverage internal resources and apply science and technology to promote agricultural and eco-tourism development and socio-economic growth; maintain national defense and security; and build Bu Gia Map into a certified new-style rural commune."
The congress identified two key drivers of economic growth: "eco-tourism" and high-tech agriculture. This strategic direction charts a path toward sustainable development by linking conservation with livelihood enhancement.
The overall direction for the term is to enhance the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Commune Party Committee, build a comprehensively strong political system, and mobilize all available resources for rapid and sustainable economic development, with a focus on achieving the criteria for new-style rural areas.
To realize its overarching goals, the Commune Party Committee has set a series of specific, high-impact targets. In economic development, the top priority is to achieve "new-style rural commune" status by 2029, through restructuring the local economy to increase the share of tourism, services, and high-tech agriculture. By 2030, the commune aims to achieve an average annual growth rate of 7.8% in total local product value, raise per capita income to 57.85 million VND per year, a 103% increase compared to 2025, and reduce the poverty rate (under national standards) to below 5%.
The commune will also prioritize improving the quality of its human resources, aiming for over 20% of its workforce to hold degrees or vocational certifications by 2030. In Party building and political system development, the goal is for 100% of Party cells to fulfill their duties well or better, while promoting administrative reform and digital transformation across all activities.
In national defense and security, the commune remains resolute in maintaining political stability, public order, and social safety; meeting annual military recruitment targets; and actively fostering friendly exchanges with Cambodian border communes.
To achieve these overarching objectives, the Commune Party Committee has identified three core breakthrough areas: advancing community-based "eco-tourism"; investing in infrastructure development, including digital infrastructure; and promoting agricultural development in connection with new-style rural development.
To ensure the resolution becomes practical action rather than formal documentation, the Bu Gia Map commune Party Executive Committee demonstrated strong determination by institutionalizing its goals through concrete action plans and adopting an innovative, hands-on leadership approach. Le Hoang Nam, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Bu Gia Map commune, affirmed: “Right after the congress, the Party Executive Committee was determined to bring the resolution to life through detailed action plans, built upon the spirit of 'solidarity – the eternal truth,' as emphasized by Party General Secretary To Lam."
"We are fully committed to a leadership approach based on the principle of the ‘six clarities’: clarity in personnel, tasks, responsibilities, timelines, authority and outcomes. This serves as a guiding compass to eliminate credit-driven practice and clearly assign accountability to Party secretaries and key leaders."

Trust, expectations, and the power of Party’s will and people’s hearts
The firm trust and unity among all segments of the population, together with the resolute coordination of local agencies and units, constitute the primary driving force behind the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Bu Gia Map Commune Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
The congress resolution identifies the eco-tourism development program linked with local livelihoods as an inseparable responsibility of the Bu Gia Map National Park.
Huynh Phuc Da, Deputy Director of the Center for Communication, Tourism, and Rescue, Conservation under Bu Gia Map National Park, stated: “This is a major task ahead, requiring even greater efforts from the Bu Gia Map National Park to work closely with the Commune Party Committee and local authorities to put the resolution into practice and create stable livelihoods for local people.”
Sharing the enthusiasm following the success of the congress, Dieu Mo, Secretary of the Party Cell of Bu Ren Hamlet, said: " I believe the resolution of the Bu Gia Map commune Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure closely aligns with reality, especially with the lives of ethnic minority people. It serves as a sound compass for socio-economic development and sustainable poverty reduction. Policies on education, healthcare and preservation of traditional culture will receive more effective investment. We are committed to dedicating all our efforts to effectively translating the resolution into action."
Hoang Thi Van, a teacher at Hoa Hong Kindergarten in Bu Gia Map, expressed hope: "As a teacher, I wish to see more attention given to educational facilities, welfare for teachers, and learning opportunities for students, especially children from ethnic minority backgrounds."
During the 2020–2025 tenure, the Bu Gia Map commune Party Committee fulfilled all four targets on Party building, solidifying the local political system. The consistent implementation of role-modeling regulations ensured that 100% of Party cells fulfilled their duties well or better, reinforcing the pioneering role of its 162 Party members.
Nguyen Minh Tung, Secretary of the Bu Gia Map Youth Union, emphasized: “The young generation of Bu Gia Map always places full trust in the Party’s leadership. The Youth Union is determined to put the congress resolution into practice through concrete actions, such as promoting youth volunteer movements, contributing to local economic development, and pioneering the application of technology and digital transformation in agricultural production while promoting local culture and image of our homeland.”
