Xuan Loc: Effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements

On the morning of September 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Xuan Loc commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, with the orientation to continue promoting its core role in building the great national unity bloc, fostering patriotism, trust, and the aspiration to develop the country.

The Congress was attended by Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial VFF Committee Luu Thi Ha, local leaders, and 150 exemplary delegates representing people from all walks of life in the commune.

The Congress took place in the context of the entire Party, people, and army determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, moving towards the Provincial VFF Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the 10th National VFF Congress.

In recent years, Xuan Loc commune VFF Committee and its member organizations have effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements, mobilizing VND 1.7 billion for social welfare and VND 2.9 billion for the Gratitude Fund; promptly capturing and reflecting the sentiments and aspirations of the people; and mobilizing all social strata to actively participate in building advanced and model new-style rural areas, civilized urban areas, and model residential areas, achieving many practical results.

Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial VFF Committee Luu Thi Ha acknowledged the achievements of Xuan Loc commune VFF Committee in the past term and urged the commune VFF Committee to continue innovating propaganda and mobilization efforts, considering this a breakthrough task to consolidate the great national unity bloc.

In addition, she emphasized improving the quality of social supervision and feedback, focusing on issues of public concern such as public service ethics, land management, construction, environment, and quality of public works. Special attention should be paid to enhancing the capacity of Front Working Committees in residential areas, promoting their role as the “extended arm” of the Front. Each official must have credibility, mobilization skills, and deeply understand the principle of “valuing the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people, and being responsible to the people.”

For the 2025-2030 term, Xuan Loc VFF Committee has set six key tasks associated with 11 major targets. Among them, the focus will be on thoroughly propagating the Party and State’s policies to 100% of officials, and members of organizations; maintaining grassroots information on people’s situations; and effectively organizing social supervision, feedback, and contributions to Party and government building.

Annually, the commune VFF aims to organize dialogues between the Party Committee, government, and the people, mobilize social resources to raise VND 1 billion for “Fund For the Poor” and other welfare activities. Each hamlet is expected to have projects and tasks contributing to community building; more than 90% of hamlets are to successfully organize the Great National Unity Day.
