On the morning of September 22, Dong Nai National Assembly (NA) Delegation, including deputies Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the NA Committee for Deputies’ Affairs, and Vu Ngoc Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), met with voters in Tan Quan commune ahead of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant provincial departments and agencies, along with leaders of Tan Quan commune.

At the meeting, NA deputy Nguyen Tuan Anh briefed voters on the activities of the Dong Nai NA Delegation at the 9th session and the agenda for the 10th session of the 15th legislature. Accordingly, the upcoming session will review and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget, oversight activities, and other important matters.

Voters in Tan Quan commune proposed that the Government consider uniform pricing of household electricity; policies on medical check-ups and treatment for senior Party members; issuance of health insurance cards for poor ethnic minority households after the commune achieved new rural standards; and appropriate policies for redundant part-time staff at hamlets and villages due to administrative restructuring.
In addition, voters expressed the desire for continued investment in key transport routes, inter-hamlet and inter-village roads in the locality following the implementation of the two-tier local government model.

At the meeting, representatives of local authorities and provincial agencies responded adequately to issues raised by voters.
NA deputy Vu Ngoc Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of DoIT, acknowledged the opinions and petitions of voters and pledged to convey them to relevant agencies for review and resolution. At the same time, he noted that the NA is working resolutely to “remove institutional bottlenecks” so that laws and resolutions are aligned with people’s lives, while supporting socio-economic development and improving organizational structures.
