Voters in Dak O and Bu Gia Map communes hope for special mechanisms for border areas

Continuing meetings with voters ahead of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly (NA), on the morning of September 23, NA deputies of Dong Nai province, including Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the NA Committee for Deputies’ Affairs, and Vu Ngoc Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), met with voters in Dak O and Bu Gia Map communes.

At the meeting, voters were updated on the agenda of the 10th session of the 15th NA, preparations by the Dong Nai NA delegation, and the settlement of petitions and complaints raised at previous meetings with voters after the 9th session.

Expressing their hopes for the upcoming session, voters of both Dak O and Bu Gia Map communes proposed that relevant agencies continue to invest in infrastructure and introduce special mechanisms for border areas, thereby creating more advantages for local development in the coming time. They also raised issues regarding the criteria for recognizing poor and near-poor households, policies for students in border areas, and benefits for grassroots officials.

In addition to explanations from relevant agencies and local authorities, on behalf of the Dong Nai NA delegation, Nguyen Tuan Anh acknowledged and took note of the voters’ opinions. He also provided further information on several matters and areas within the jurisdiction of the provincial NA deputiesthat were of interest to the voters.
