As professionals working in diverse fields such as education, science, technology, culture, healthcare, and the economy, the intellectual community bears a particularly important responsibility in analyzing, explaining, critiquing, and accompanying authorities and the people in better understanding both the long-term benefits and immediate challenges of the new Dong Nai Province. They also play a role in shaping development visions, ensuring that the administrative restructuring process goes hand in hand with improving people’s quality of life; maintaining and promoting the distinctive cultural and social identities of each locality while working toward a shared identity rich in heritage and creativity; building social trust; and contributing to communication, explanation, and dissemination of the spirit of reform for the common good.
