The “diamond-like” solidarity bloc propels Dong Nai forward

The Party organization’s resolutions only truly come to life when they are embraced and actively implemented by the people. The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Dong Nai province has pledged to take the lead in bringing the Party Congress resolutions into reality, further strengthening the great national solidarity bloc, and turning the Party’s determination into the actions of millions of citizens.

This was affirmed by Comrade Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai provincial VFF Committee, in an interview with Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, as the entire province looks forward with excitement to the first Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Looking back on the past five years, filled with upheavals and challenges, it is deeply evident that the unity between “the Party’s will and the people’s aspirations” has been the source of strength and the key factor behind every victory of Dong Nai. This is not a mere slogan but a living truth, proven by reality.

When the Covid-19 pandemic became complex, it was thanks to the timely, sound leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the trust, unity, and joint efforts of people from all walks of life that we created a combined strength to drive back the pandemic, swiftly recover, and develop economy.

When the province implemented national-scale “mega projects” such as Long Thanh International Airport or key expressways, it is the consensus and cooperation of residents in the project zones that has turned the Party and State’s major decisions into reality, creating breakthroughs in land clearance.

The strength of the great national solidarity bloc, where “the Party’s will and the people’s aspirations” merge into one, has transformed difficulties into driving forces and challenges into opportunities, unleashing every potential and resource to build advanced new-style rural areas, model new-style rural areas, developing civilized urban areas.

The VFF of Dong Nai province is proud to have fulfilled its mission as a steadfast bridge, contributing to shaping this “diamond-like” solidarity bloc, laying a solid foundation for the province to advance steadily toward rapid and sustainable development.

 “Promoting the strength of great national solidarity” is among the key components of the Provincial Party Congress’s theme for the 2025-2030 term. How will the Standing Committee of Dong Nai provincial VFF continue to mobilize the people’s strength, harness the internal power of the great national unity bloc in the process of concretizing the policy of building a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern Dong Nai for the happiness of the people,

To carry out the entrusted historic mission of bringing the Party Congress resolution into real life, the VFF of Dong Nai province has identified the mobilization of the great national solidarity bloc’s internal strength as a central and consistent task.

We will focus on three breakthrough solutions. First, comprehensively renewing methods of communication and mobilization, making patriotic movements and campaigns closer and more practical for each citizen. Instead of generic appeals, we will turn them into meaningful actions tied directly to people’s daily lives and interests. Second, enhancing the substantive role of social supervision and feedback to strengthen public trust. Solidarity can only endure when built on trust. The Front will proactively listen to, gather, and convey people’s opinions and proposals to participate in building the Party and government, while monitoring policy implementation to ensure that all guidelines ultimately serve the legitimate interests of the people. Third, accelerating the application of digital technology to promptly and effectively collect feedback and petitions from the people, thereby consolidating social consensus and turning solidarity into concrete revolutionary action.

Through such timely actions, we are confident that the power of solidarity will be strongly awakened and translated into widespread revolutionary movements, enabling every citizen to see their role and responsibility in building Dong Nai.

As the bridge between the Party, government, and the people, through close contact and dialogue, we clearly understand that the expectations directed toward this Congress are both profound and practical.

First, people hope for breakthrough decisions in economic development, linked to stable jobs and higher incomes. For example, workers in industrial parks want more social housing policies and cultural facilities; farmers expect sustainable solutions for high-tech agriculture and stable markets for their produce; and the business community hopes for a more transparent, open investment environment to conduct operations with peace of mind.

Second, citizens are particularly concerned about quality of life. They want pressing social issues addressed, such as overcrowding in schools and hospitals, traffic congestion, urban flooding, and environmental pollution. They long for a safe, clean living space and a genuinely robust social welfare system.

Third, people pin their trust on a new generation of Party officials and members who are truly clean, strong, and courageous — those who “dare to think, dare to act, and dare to take responsibility,” with greater determination in administrative reform and the fight against corruption and waste.

What is the significance of this first Provincial Party Congress after the merger for Dong Nai’s future development, and what are your personal hopes for this pivotal political event?

This Provincial Party Congress is not merely a regular political event but a true historic milestone, opening a new chapter in Dong Nai’s development journey.

The legitimate expectations of the people are in fact mandates from real life which the Vietnam Fatherland Front will gather and fully convey to the Congress, helping the Provincial Party Committee Executive Board to adopt policies that are both correct and aligned with the people’s aspirations.

In the current context, as the province stands before unprecedented opportunities with national-scale infrastructure “mega projects,” the Congress must chart a strategic roadmap and vision to transform potential into reality, developing Dong Nai into a modern industrial province.

With all my commitment, responsibility, and trust, I deeply hope the Congress will adopt bold, breakthrough decisions that truly unlock all resources, especially human and cultural resources, to create new growth drivers. I also expect that the officials nominated to join the Provincial Party Executive Board for the new term will truly represent a collective of intellect, courage, unity, and integrity, possessing the dedication, wisdom and vision needed to lead and steer the Dong Nai through all challenges toward becoming one of the nation’s key growth poles. Above all, I hope the spirit of the upcoming Congress will spread widely, sparking a vibrant wave of patriotic emulation among people from all walks of life.
