The 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025–2030 term, held on September 29 and 30, 2025, marks a historic festival. This is an event that opens the way into a new era, filled with trust and burning aspirations, in a locality determined to soon become a major growth pole of the nation.
The congress takes place at a time when Dong Nai stands before a “golden opportunity” – a convergence of favorable conditions that create momentum for “take-off” – while also facing new challenges that require strong resolve to overcome. The preparation process was carried out seriously and promptly by the Provincial Party Executive Committee, with cadres, Party members, the people, and the business community enthusiastically joining practical movements toward this significant political event.
Looking back over the past 5 years, Dong Nai has achieved outstanding, comprehensive results across all sectors, gradually affirming its role as a growth pole of the Southeast region and the nation. The economy grew steadily; the multimodal transport infrastructure system connecting within and beyond the region was invested synchronously and modernly. Culture, society, education, and healthcare all advanced; social security was emphasized; and people’s lives improved markedly. National defense, security, and border sovereignty were firmly maintained. The work of building a clean and strong Party, government, and political system has achieved positive results, continuously reflecting the Party Committee’s mission of integrity and devotion to the people, always putting the people’s interests first and earning their absolute trust.
Dong Nai today has reached an unprecedented new position and strength, requiring renewed thinking, decisive action, and effective implementation. With intellectual and democratic spirit, 450 official delegates participated in in-depth discussions, accurately assessing the situation, identifying opportunities and challenges, and setting forth breakthrough and feasible strategies for the years ahead. Each exemplary Party member, with pride and responsibility, raised the glorious Party membership card to approve strategic decisions guiding Dong Nai’s effort to meet the basic criteria of a centrally governed city by 2030. The province aims to strongly promote its role as a growth engine of the Southern key economic region and a solid bridge linking the Central Highlands and South Central Coast, thereby affirming its pioneering role among the country’s leading economic localities.
The congress embodies the will of the Party and the people, resolutely pursuing far-reaching vision and great aspirations. It has drawn strong attention and expectations of people from all walks of life, ethnic communities, and religious groups, who place their trust in the Party Committee’s sound leadership in the next 5 years and beyond. The entire political system and the people hope that the new-term Provincial Party Executive Committee will truly be a collective of outstanding political integrity, ethics, intellect, and decisiveness, capable of successfully leading the province toward its set goals, affirming Dong Nai’s stature in the shared home of 34 provinces and cities nationwide, and ensuring steady progress in the flow of the times.
