The 1st Dong Nai Party Congress officially opens this morning, September 29

This morning, September 29, the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 officially opened at the Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center in Nguyen Ai Quoc street, Tan Trieu ward, Dong Nai province.

A total of 450 official delegates, representing more than 131,000 Party members across the Provincial Party Organization, attended the Congress.

The Congress takes place over two days, September 29 and 30.

The Congress will cover two main agenda items: reviewing the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, and setting out the orientations, objectives, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; as well as discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress will not hold elections for a new term, nor for delegates to the higher-level Congress. Instead, it will announce the Central decisions regarding the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretaries; the Inspection Commission, Chairperson, Vice Chairpersons of the Provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission for the 1st term; and report on the Delegation of the Provincial Party Organization to attend the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress carries the theme: “Building a pure, strong Party Organization and political system marked by solidarity, discipline, and responsibility; ensuring national defense, security, and border sovereignty; mobilizing and using resources effectively to develop Dong Nai into a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern province.”

The overall goal is to build Dong Nai into a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern province by 2030, striving to basically meet the criteria of a Centrally governed city by 2030.

The Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, takes place in the context of the country’s major achievements and its growing stature and strength, with the entire Party and people determined to realize the development goals toward 2030 and vision to 2045. With the motto “Solidarity – pioneering – breakthrough – integration – development”, the Congress affirms the spirit of unity, leveraging potentials and advantages after the merger, and the determination to achieve double-digit growth, building Dong Nai into a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern province, advancing with the entire nation into a new era.

On September 29, the preparatory session took place with the following activities: electing the Presidium, the Secretariat, and the Delegate Credentials Committee; adopting the program, rules, and working regulations of the Congress; dividing delegates into groups for discussions and guiding the content of document discussions.
