In order to provide timely guidance and support for communal and ward-level police in professional tasks, the Economic Security Division of Dong Nai Provincial Public Security has recently established task forces that are directly deployed to localities. These groups conduct in-depth professional training for commune-level police, with particular focus on administrative units that have recently been merged.

At the working sessions, officers from the Economic Security Division focused on providing guidance on core professional areas tailored to the specific conditions of each locality after the administrative mergers. They also directly addressed difficulties and challenges encountered by commune-level police in the course of performing their duties.
Through discussions, the Division noted many opinions from the grassroots level, particularly regarding emerging issues in local management. The diversity of economic models at the local level, coupled with a shortage of specialised personnel in economic security, was identified as a challenge. Based on this, the parties discussed and agreed on specific solutions to remove obstacles, creating favourable conditions for commune-level police to fulfil their assigned responsibilities.

According to assessments, commune-level police play a pivotal role in monitoring both general and specific economic security situation at the grassroots level, especially within industrial zones, clusters, and key enterprises, as well as in the financial, banking, energy, trade, and service sectors.
As the commune-level police are the frontline force, directly and regularly engaging with residents and enterprises, they are required to proactively detect, as early as possible and from the outset, signs of violations, criminal activities, or schemes that threaten economic security, to provide timely advice, report, and proposals for coordinated handling.
The Provincial Police emphasized that the professional guidance provided by the Economic Security Division not only enhances the expertise of commune-level police but also equips them with additional knowledge and practical experience. This contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of preventive measures and the fight against criminals to safeguard economic security at the grassroots level.
