On the afternoon of September 24, the Executive Committee of the Tam Hiep Ward Women’s Union held a preparatory session for the 1st women’s Congress of Tam Hiep Ward, 2025–2030 term, with the participation of 110 official delegates representing nearly 34,500 women in the ward. This is the only unit selected by the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union to host a pilot congress at the commune level for the 2025–2030 term.

Comrades including Le Thi Thanh Loan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai province, and Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union; Bui Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Women’s Union, Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee of Dong Nai province; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women’s Union; and representatives of Women’s Union branches from communes and wards across the province, attended in person at the main venue and via online connection points.

The congress is tasked with reviewing and assessing the activities of the Women’s Union and the women’s movement during the 2021–2025 term, drawing lessons learned, and setting out orientations, tasks, and solutions for the 2025–2030 term. It will also review the leadership role of the Executive Committee of the Tam Hiep Ward Women’s Union for the 2021–2025 term.
At the preparatory session, the delegates unanimously elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, and Delegate Qualification Examination Board, and approved the congress’s rules, regulations, and agenda.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Women’s Union also requested that, following the pilot congress of the Tam Hiep Ward Women’s Union, all remaining commune- and ward-level Women’s Unions in the province promptly complete their draft documents and submit them to the Provincial Women’s Union for approval, ensuring that their congresses are held on schedule.
On the morning of September 25, the congress convened its official session.
