Tran Bien ward has 49 neighborhoods with over 197,000 residents, making it the ward with the largest number of neighborhoods and population in the province. It also serves as the province’s political, economic, cultural, scientific, and technological center, and is an important transportation hub in the Southern key economic region.

During the past term, the VFF Committee of the ward and its affiliated organizations effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements, including mobilizing residents to respond to urban beautification projects, maintaining urban environmental sanitation. They also promoted the strength of the great national solidarity bloc to contribute to the successful achievement of local socio-economic development goals and targets.

According to comrade Huynh Thi Hang, the Tran Bien Ward Fatherland Front needs to focus on strongly renewing its communication, mobilization, and gathering people to foster broad social consensus in implementing the ward’s socio-economic development tasks, particularly key projects in infrastructure, urban areas and resettlement. This approach helps residents clearly understand that the benefits of the projects and of the province are also long-term benefits for each family and individual.
