However, Phu Trung is still facing several difficulties, such as the limited size of communal headquarters and deterioration of many key roads. The commune also has more than 4,800 hectares of land under the planning for bauxite exploration, exploitation, and reserves. Therefore, the Phu Trung Commune Party Committee proposed removing from the bauxite planning those exploration areas with low reserves.
At the same time, it requested the Provincial People’s Committee to pay attention to upgrading and expanding a number of local roads and to allocate resources for implementing the criteria to help Phu Trung achieve the status of an advanced new-style rural commune.

The proposals from Phu Trung Commune were discussed and clarified by provincial leaders right at the meeting. Regarding bauxite planning, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to review and delineate the exploration reserves area and make specific proposals to the Provincial People’s Committee.
Regarding the upgrading and expansion of connecting roads, Phu Trung needs to quickly draw up a list of roads and include them in the investment plan for the 2026–2030 period. For severely degraded and dangerous roads, the commune should coordinate with the Department of Construction to survey and propose immediate repairs.
