On the afternoon of September 12 in Dong Nai, the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment under the Mobile Police Command held a ceremony to mark its 15th founding anniversary and to receive the third-class Fatherland Protection Order. Attending the ceremony were Comrade Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee; along with other delegates.

Recalling the 15-year tradition of building and development, Colonel Dang Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment, said: Over 15 years of building, combat, and growth, the unit has faced countless hardships and challenges from the very first days of its establishment.

Yet, with the dedication and commitment of its officers and soldiers, undaunted by difficulties and united in will, the regiment both built its force and organized training for combat readiness while urgently preparing conditions for barracks construction. Thanks to the attention of leaders at all levels and the support of local people where the unit is stationed, the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment has consistently fulfilled every assigned task with excellence, gradually affirming its position and role in safeguarding national security and maintaining social order and safety across the Southeastern provinces.

In all circumstances and conditions, the officers and soldiers of the unit have always overcome every difficulty and challenge, remaining absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; united as one, building a regiment with rapid mobility, strong fighting spirit, strict discipline, and constant readiness to take on and excellently fulfill every assigned mission.

In recognition of its outstanding achievements and victories over the past 15 years, the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment, along with many of its subordinate collectives and individuals, has been honored with numerous prestigious awards from the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, ministries, agencies, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, and local authorities. These include the third-class Feat of Arms Order, the third-class Fatherland Protection Order, and 6 certificates of merit from the Prime Minister.

On the occasion of its 15th founding anniversary, the regiment was once again honored by the State President with the third-class Fatherland Protection Order for its excellent performance in training, combat readiness, force building, and strengthening people’s security, contributing to the cause of building socialism and safeguarding the Fatherland.

Speaking at the anniversary ceremony, Major General Phung Van Chien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police, praised and acknowledged the outstanding achievements and victories of the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment in recent years.

He emphasized that the Party Committee and the leadership of the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment must continue to promote the study, dissemination, and effective implementation of higher-level resolutions and directives on safeguarding national security, maintaining social order and safety, and advancing the country’s development in the new era. On that basis, he emphasized the need to renew thinking, ensure a high level of unity in awareness and action among officers and soldiers, and strive to build a Mobile Police force that is truly clean, strong, professional, elite, and modern – capable of excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks.

On behalf of the State President, Major General Phung Van Chien presented the second third-class Fatherland Protection Order to the officers and soldiers of the Southeast Mobile Police Regiment.
