As part of voter outreach activities ahead of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, the Dong Nai Provincial National Assembly delegation held a voter meeting on the afternoon of September 22. The delegation included Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Deputy Affairs, and Vu Ngoc Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade. They met with voters in Minh Hung Ward, Dong Nai Province.

Following the briefing on the proposed agenda for the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, voters in Minh Hung Ward submitted eight opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly deputies and relevant authorities.
The feedback addressed several important matters, including compensation and support for residents impacted by the National Highway 13 Western Bypass Project; the consideration of allowances for non-full-time officials serving in local associations and community groups; and the review of policies and benefits for those honored with medals for their contributions during international missions in Cambodia.
Voters also offered suggestions on the revised Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces, emphasizing the need to effectively mobilize local forces and respected community leaders to help maintain security and public order.

Issues raised by voters that fell within local jurisdiction were clearly addressed and explained by representatives of Minh Hung Ward and relevant provincial departments in Dong Nai.

Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Deputy Vu Ngoc Long acknowledged the feedback and proposals from voters, affirming that he would submit them to the relevant authorities for prompt review and resolution. He noted that the 10th session marks the final sitting of the 15th National Assembly and encouraged voters to continue providing constructive input on the 42 draft laws and 3 draft resolutions aimed at advancing the country’s socio-economic development and legislative agenda. These items are scheduled to be reviewed and passed during the upcoming session.
