Reviewing preparation of draft documents for Dong Nai Party Congress ahead of submission for Politburo’s feedback

On the afternoon of September 3, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee, Chairwoman of the provincial People's Council Ton Ngoc Hanh chaired a working session with agencies and units on the preparation of draft documents for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, ahead of submission for the approval of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

At the conference, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Thi Hong Trang, representative of the standing agency of the Provincial Party Congress Document Subcommittee, said: Currently, the draft political report of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term has been drafted for the eighth time. The draft has received thousands of comments from officials, party members in the province, and central agencies.

Currently, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission is coordinating with the Provincial Party Committee Office to prepare relevant documents to serve the working session with Working Group No. 01 of the Politburo to approve the documents of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term (including the report of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, the report on receiving and explaining comments from central ministries, departments and branches).

Along with preparing documents to serve the working session of the Provincial Standing Party Committee with Working Group No. 01 of the Politburo, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee... have advised the Provincial Standing Party Committee in drafting the Party Committee's review report; detailed program and script of the congress; selecting the venue for organizing the congress; drawing up a list of delegates to attend the congress... At the same time, they have contacted departments, branches, sectors, and localities in the province to propose drafting speeches at the congress.

In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission will coordinate with specialized editorial groups to complete the political report and draft resolution, action program to implement the Provincial Party Congress Resolution after receiving comments from central ministries, departments, branches, and opinions of the Politburo.

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission proposed the Provincial Standing Party Committee to divide the discussion groups at the preparatory session into 5 groups to discuss issues, such as: Party building and political system; economy, infrastructure, logistics, digital transformation, green economy; culture, education, health, environment, social security; national defense, security, foreign affairs; mass mobilization work, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. At the same time, the Provincial Standing Party Committee is proposed to give opinions on the preparation of thematic reports of the two former provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc. Accordingly, to ensure generality, avoid repetition and accurately reflect the situation after the administrative merger, the Provincial Standing Party Committee is asked to allow the merger of 21 thematic reports into 16 and give opinions on the selection of units and localities to present their speeches at the congress...

After listening to the opinions of agencies and units, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ton Ngoc Hanh concluded: It is necessary to build a detailed and reasonable congress agenda that is suitable to the actual situation at the congress. The reports presented at the congress will be printed as a record of proceedings to serve the congress. When the Politburo works with the province to approve the Provincial Party Congress Documents, the province will propose to the Central Government to remove difficulties and obstacles so that Dong Nai can promote its potential and advantages and develop strongly in the coming time.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh suggested: Each agency and unit needs to be proactive in their work, promptly carry out assigned tasks to best serve the organization of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
