In recent years, many frontline production workers in Dong Nai have been honored to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam. Becoming a Party member serves as a great motivation for the workers to continue striving, studying, and improving their expertise and craftsmanship, while devoting their efforts and intellect to the Party’s development.

PROMOTING THE ROLE OF PARTY MEMBERS

In 2018, Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa, an exemplary worker, was admitted into the Party by the Party Committee of Vedan Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Phuoc Thai Commune, Dong Nai Province). This was a special and memorable milestone for her.

“Being honored to join the Party right at my workplace, I felt proud and emotional. It was the recognition of my tireless efforts in work and self-improvement, and at the same time a driving force for me to contribute even more, worthy of the responsibilities of a Party member,” Hoa shared.

To become a Party member, Hoa always completed her assigned tasks well, actively participated in emulation movements for labor and production, and contributed to building a cultural, professional, and efficient working environment. She also consistently pursued political education, maintained solidarity, and supported colleagues. In addition to her regular work, she proactively proposed initiatives to improve production process and took part enthusiastically in mass organization activities at the company.

According to Hoa, as a Party member in the enterprise, she is deeply aware of her role and responsibility in contributing to the company’s overall development and acting as a bridge between the Party organization and the workforce. She actively promotes Party guidelines, State laws, as well as the company’s new policies and regulations to workers on the production floor.

With her work giving her much direct contact with workers, Hoa often listens to their thoughts and aspirations, promptly conveying them to the grassroots trade union, thereby contributing to a democratic, united, and cohesive working environment. She also participates in cultural activities to enrich the spiritual life of workers.

“I see it as both a responsibility and an honor to contribute my small part to the sustainable development of the company,” Hoa confided.

GREATER MOTIVATION FOR CONTRIBUTION

That was the sentiment shared by Nguyen Quang Kiet, a young Party member at Vietnam Orient Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh Commune, Dong Nai Province). Starting out as a frontline production worker, he strived to hold many important positions and is now a production manager. He always spreads positive energy, motivating colleagues to improve productivity and contribute to the sustainable development of the company.

In 2024, Trade Unions at all levels in the province introduced more than 2,800 members to Party committees for admission consideration. As a result, 1,000 Trade Union members were admitted, including 47 frontline production workers

Recalling his pride in becoming a Party member, Kiet said that in 2010, he was honored to be admitted into the Party by the company’s Party cell. Since then, he has regularly attended monthly Party cell meetings and contributed many opinions to strengthen the Party cell.

At work, Kiet plays an important role in leading the factory workforce and encouraging their working spirit. According to him, one advantage for Party members in enterprises is quick access to Party policies, along with opportunities to learn, train, and improve themselves. Therefore, he actively disseminates policies to workers, helping stabilize production.

“In enterprises with a large number of workers, information can spread in many different ways. As a Party member, I seek out official information to promptly share with workers, preventing misinformation that could affect production activities,” Kiet explained.

Similarly, Truong Thi Trinh, a worker and Party member at Taiyo Brush Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Long Thanh Commune, Dong Nai Province), said that when she was still in school, she dreamed of becoming a Party member. That dream came true in 2023 when, after joining the company, she was introduced by the grassroots Trade Union to the Party Committee of the former Long Thanh District Federation of Labor for admission. According to Trinh, every worker needs to strive and train to earn the honor of becoming a Party member. This also motivates workers to gain confidence in their work and personal development.

The presence of workers among Party members has strengthened the Party’s foundation, continuity, and development.

According to Le Nhat Truong, Secretary of the Party cell at Pousung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Vien Commune, Dong Nai Province): The Party cell was established in 2009 with five members. Today, it has grown to 81 members, 80% of whom are workers. They are exemplary individuals spreading positivity in their work, company activities, and above all, demonstrating responsibility, determination, and political courage in all tasks assigned.

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, developing Party membership among trade unionists and workers is one of the key tasks to enhance the Party’s leadership capacity and combat strength in fulfilling political missions at each unit and enterprise. Each year, the Provincial Federation of Labor assigns targets to its units to recommend outstanding trade unionists for Party admission, considering this an important criterion to evaluate the effectiveness of trade union organizations.
