Press conference on 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for 2025-2030 term

On the morning of September 24, the Organizing Subcommittee for the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress held a press conference to provide information on the organization of the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 term, and the socio-economic, national defense, and security situation in the first 9 months of 2025.

 The press conference was chaired by: Le Truong Son, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Hong Trang, Provincial Party Committee Member, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son stated: Implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025, of the Politburo and guiding documents from the Party Central Committee on Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, for many months now, in addition to focusing on leading and directing the organizational restructuring, completing the targets and tasks for 2025 and the entire 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Executive Committee has focused on leading and successfully organizing the congresses of 99 Party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, ensuring the correct process, content, and quality. Accordingly, Dong Nai is one of the units that completed grassroots-level congresses earliest in the country.

Regarding the preparation for the Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Standing Party Committee has directed its urgent, meticulous, scientific, high-quality, and timely implementation. With the approval of the Politburo, the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, will take place over 2 days, September 29 and 30, 2025, at the Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center (Nguyen Ai Quoc Street, Tan Trieu Ward).

On behalf of the Dong Nai provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son sincerely thanked press agencies inside and outside the province for their cooperation and companionship with Dong Nai in providing information and delivering official information to readers; accurately and timely orienting information, contributing to the overall development of Dong Nai province.

He hoped that: Press agencies inside and outside the province would continue to pay attention to informing and propagating official information about Dong Nai, contributing to the overall development of Dong Nai and the country; especially focusing on propaganda before, during, and after the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 term, the achievements Dong Nai has made in the past term; and Dong Nai's development orientation in the 2025-2030 term.

Providing information to the press about the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Loan stated: The Congress will cover 2 contents, including summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and determining the direction, objectives, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the direct superior Party congress.

The Congress will not conduct elections for a new term or a delegation chosen to participate in the superior congress, but it will announce the Central decisions on the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Head, Deputy Head of the first Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; report on the delegation that will attend the 14th National Party Congress, ensuring the standards, structure, quantity, and mission requirements of the Party Committee in the new period.

The Congress has the theme: "Building a transparent, strong, united, disciplined, and responsible Party organization and political system; ensuring national defense - security, border sovereignty; mobilizing and effectively utilizing all resources, developing Dong Nai into a green, rich, civilized, and modern province."

The motto of the Congress is: "Unity - Pioneering - Breakthrough - Integration - Development."

The Congress sets the overall goal for 2030: "Building Dong Nai into a green developed, rich, civilized, and modern province; striving to basically meet the criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030."

At the same time, 29 major targets have been identified regarding Party building, economy, socio-culture, natural resources and environment, national defense - security, closely following the direction of the Ministry of Finance; in which, the average Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth for the period 2026-2030 is set at 10% or more per year; 8 groups of specific tasks and 3 strategic breakthroughs.

The Congress was attended by 450 official delegates. At the Congress, delegates were divided into 5 groups to conduct in-depth discussions on topics related to the Congress. This Congress will apply digital technology in providing information.

The 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 term, will be broadcast live on channels DN1, DN2 and the digital platforms of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television.

Cadres, party members, people from all walks of life, agencies, units, and localities in the province have carried out many meaningful and practical activities and projects to welcome the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress.

Also, at the press conference, there were 13 questions raised by the press agencies inside and outside the province, concerning the organization of the congress and the socio-economic, national defense - security situation, especially traffic infrastructure in Dong Nai and key projects to welcome the congress.
