Phu Vinh determined to build itself into a modern new-style rural area

On September 26, the 1st Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Congress of Phu Vinh commune for the 2025–2030 term was held. Attending the congress were Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province, and Chairwoman of the Provincial Women’s Union; Dao Van Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Phu Vinh commune; along with 123 official delegates.

Over the past term, the Phu Vinh VFF Committee continued to uphold its role and responsibility within the political system and community life. Its operational content and methods were renewed, while practical campaigns and emulation movements contributed to economic development, and helped address social issues, ensured national defense and security, and gradually improved the living standards of local residents.

The commune’s VFF Committee effectively coordinated in successfully organizing meetings between National Assembly deputies and People’s Councils at all levels with voters while mobilizing nearly 630 million VND for social welfare programs. At the same time, it raised funds through the “For the Poor” Fund to build and repair 42 great solidarity houses for disadvantaged households, worth nearly 4.3 billion VND in total. More than 1,600 gift packages were distributed to poor, near-poor, and struggling families, along with 23 scholarships worth 850 million VND for hardworking students from low-income households.

With the motto “Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development”, in the 2025–2030 term, the Phu Vinh VFF Committee will continue renewing its operational approaches and content in a more practical, effective, and grassroots-oriented manner. It will promote the application of information technology and accelerate digital transformation in management, administration, and public engagement.

It will also focus on enhancing the quality and impact of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, particularly the “All people unite to build modern new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” campaign in connection with the “All people protect National Security” movement, as well as initiatives on environmental protection, climate change response, social welfare, and support for poor, near-poor, and vulnerable groups.

The congress elected 56 members to the Phu Vinh VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 term (with three seats left vacant), as well as Standing members of the commune Party Committee and the positions of Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons. Do Thi Van Thu was entrusted to serve as Chairwoman of the Phu Vinh VFF Committee for the 2025–2030 term. The congress also agreed on the selection of delegates to attend the 1st Dong Nai Provincial VFF Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
