Following the agenda of the congress, on the morning of September 25, the official session of the 1st Congress of the Tam Hiep Ward Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term was held.

Attending the event were Do Thi Thu Thao, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, and Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, and President of the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union.
Tam Hiep Ward was established through the administrative merger of four wards: Tam Hiep, Tan Hiep, Tan Mai, and Binh Da. During the previous term, the activities and movements of the Tam Hiep Women's Union achieved notable results. The ward-level Women's Union successfully fulfilled, and exceeded, all nine targets set by the previous Women's Congress. Campaigns such as the Emulation Movement to Build the Image of Vietnamese Women in the New Era, various advocacy efforts, the implementation of two strategic breakthroughs, and the Union’s key tasks were enthusiastically embraced by women across the ward.

For the 2025-2030 period, besides its main goals, the Tam Hiep Ward Women’s Union outlined 6 main target groups, focusing on: supporting women in economic growth; building happy and safe families for women and children; participating in Party and government development; strengthening the Union's organizational structure; advancing women's digital transformation; and boosting international cooperation and diplomacy. The Union also identified 2 strategic priorities, digital transformation and innovative entrepreneurship, along with 5 main tasks and 3 groups of strategic solutions.

Speaking at the congress, Le Thi Thanh Loan, Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and President of the provincial Women's Union, urged the Tam Hiep Ward Women's Union to closely follow and concretize the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies. She emphasized the importance of strictly implementing directives related to the two-tier local government model and the organization of mass associations under the ward-level Vietnam Fatherland Front.
She underscored the importance of recognizing women and Union members as central actors in development, calling for efforts to fully harness local advantages for economic advancement and legitimate wealth creation. She urged women to actively engage in digital transformation, embrace scientific and technological applications, and foster innovation. The Union must also stay closely attuned to the concerns and aspirations of women, particularly those living in areas with unique socioeconomic conditions.

Loan also called for improving the effectiveness of social supervision and feedback mechanisms, maintaining a high level of vigilance, and taking proactive measures to counter hostile schemes and tactics. She emphasized the need to effectively implement patriotic emulation movements, advocacy campaigns, breakthroughs, and the Union’s core tasks; to build a capable team of Union officials that meets the demands of new tasks; and to mobilize, leverage, and efficiently utilize resources to advance women’s work and achieve gender equality goals in the current context.

At the congress, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Tam Hiep Ward Women's Union, comprising 39 members. The Standing Committee of the Ward Women’s Union includes 11 members. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy was appointed President of the Tam Hiep Ward Women’s Union for the 1st term (2025-2030).
Additionally, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union appointed the Inspection Committee and the Head of the Inspection Committee of the Tam Hiep Ward Women's Union, 1st term, and nominated delegates to attend the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Women's Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
