National Assembly deputies meet with voters in Nghia Trung commune

On the morning of September 25, as part of the program to meet with voters ahead of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly (NA), the NA deputies of Dong Nai province including Dieu Huynh Sang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of Dong Nai Provincial Delegation of NA Deputies, and Phan Viet Luong, met with voters in Nghia Trung commune.

During the meeting, voters raised several concerns, including delays in handling land-related administrative procedures; a proposal for monthly allowances for military personnel who participated in the resistance war against the U.S. imperialism for national salvation, served less than 15 years in the army, and have since demobilized and returned to their localities; and a request to expand Provincial Road DT755.

Particularly, the voters showed strong interest in matters related to the bauxite planning project, hoping to soon receive specific, detailed information about the project as well as solutions to fully resolve existing challenges so that residents can stabilize their lives and confidently engage in production and work.

Issues within their authority were directly addressed and clarified by the NA deputies and representatives from relevant departments and local government agencies.

Regarding local administrative operations, Dieu Huynh Sang observed that after the recent administrative merger, communes are facing a much heavier workload. She highlighted the need for significant effort to address issues affecting residents effectively.

In response to concerns about the bauxite planning project, Sang mentioned that the provincial NA Delegation had already carried out an on-site inspection to gather input for resolving related difficulties. She asked the People’s Committee of Nghia Trung commune to submit an official report on the matter to the Provincial NA delegation for consolidation.

For other issues, the deputies acknowledged and will forward them to the competent authorities for resolution as soon as possible.
