NA deputies acknowledge multiple livelihood issues raised by voters

On the afternoon of September 22, continuing the program of meetings with voters ahead of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly (NA), the NA Delegation of Dong Nai’s electoral unit No. 3, including deputies Bui Xuan Thong, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the provincial Delegation of NA Deputies ; Nguyen Cong Long, full-time NA deputy of the NA' Committee for Legal and Judicial Affairs; and Do Huy Khanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Phuoc An Commune, held a meeting with voters from three communes: Dai Phuoc, Nhon Trach, and Phuoc An.

Attending the event were Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People’s Council of Nhon Trach Commune Tu Nam Thanh, along with representatives of provincial departments, agencies, and local leaders.

Reporting to voters, deputy Do Huy Khanh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Phuoc An Commune, said: The 10th session of the 15th NA will open on October 20 and is scheduled to close on December 12, 2025.

This session will focus on key tasks, mainly legislative work, with the NA reviewing and adopting 42 laws and 3 resolutions, including: the Cybersecurity Law; the Press Law (amended); the Deposit Insurance Law (amended); the State Secrets Protection Law (amended)…; as well as considering and deciding on socio-economic matters, the state budget, supervision, and other important issues.

At the meeting, voters from the communes of Dai Phuoc, Nhon Trach, and Phuoc An raised numerous issues related to procedures for resolving land disputes, issuance of land use rights certificates, and resettlement policies for local residents. In particular, they reported that the construction of transportation projects in Nhon Trach Commune and neighboring areas has caused flooding and obstructed traffic.

In response, representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities provided explanations and answers to the people.

Speaking at the meeting, NA deputy Bui Xuan Thong, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the provincial Delegation of NA Deputies, acknowledged the petitions and feedback of the people. Based on these opinions, the provincial NA deputies will submit them to the competent authorities for resolution in accordance with the law.

Regarding the flooding caused by transportation construction projects, the provincial NA deputy stated: A recommendation will be sent to the provincial leadership to promptly direct the construction units to implement measures to definitively resolve this issue.

With respect to other opinions and petitions, the provincial NA deputy called on the competent authorities to pay timely attention and take action to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
