To facilitate the direction and implementation of socio-economic development and national defense and security assurance tasks of the provincial People’s Committee as well as address local urgent issues within its authority, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council is scheduled to convene its 5th session - a thematic meeting of the 10th Provincial People’s Council - in late September 2025.

According to the agenda registered by the Provincial People’s Committee, 11 contents are expected to be submitted for discussion at the upcoming session. Some specific contents include support policies for officials, civil servants, and public employees who are rotated, transferred, or seconded within Dong Nai province; policies on the development of non-public preschools starting from the 2025–2026 academic year; policies on supporting public passenger transport by bus and bus service users; and loan interest rate support policies at credit institutions for projects on investing in bus vehicles and infrastructure construction for public passenger transport by bus in the province.
The Provincial People’s Committee is also expected to propose at the upcoming session the decision on staffing quotas for civil servants in the People’s Councils and People’s Committees at provincial and commune levels; approval of staffing quotas for employees receiving salaries from the state budget in public non-business units; and the number of contracted workers performing professional tasks in public education and healthcare units in the province. Another important agenda item is the approval of the Zoning Master Plan at a scale of 1/2,000 for the functional area on the peak of Chua Chan Mountain (Xuan Loc commune).
According to the Provincial People’s Council, based on the registration of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council has issued a document agreeing on the agenda, with the session expected to take place in the final week of September 2025. The Provincial People’s Committee is requested to promptly complete the draft resolution dossiers and submit them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, ensuring sufficient time for the Council’s committees to conduct their appraisal according to regulations. At the same time, the Provincial People’s Committee is asked to report to its Party Committee to seek opinions from the Standing members of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Standing Party Committee regarding the contents to be presented at the Provincial People’s Council session, in accordance with regulations.
