Loc Ninh fosters and promotes people’s creativity and self-governance

On September 25, the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Loc Ninh commune for the 2025–2030 tenure was held. Attending the Congress were Nguyen Tat Do, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial VFF Committee, Standing members of the Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Loc Ninh commune, along with 161 official delegates.

During the past tenure, Loc Ninh commune VFF Committee effectively upheld its role in uniting the great national solidarity bloc, promoting patriotic emulation movements and campaigns that spread widely and created strong consensus among the people.

The emulation movement “Eradicating makeshift and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025” was strongly implemented by the commune’s VFF, bringing practical results. Specifically, nine houses worth a total of VND 750 million were completed and handed over; six great solidarity houses worth VND 301 million were built; three houses worth VND 48 million were repaired; over VND 150 million was mobilized for the “For the Poor” fund; and nine toilets worth VND 135 million were built for disadvantaged households. Local residents contributed over VND 510 million, more than 250 working days, and donated land to work with the State in building and repairing roads, installing street lighting, upgrading community houses and halls, planting flower roads, and developing model flag-lined streets. These activities contributed to creating a cleaner and more modern appearance for the commune.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee Nguyen Tat Do congratulated Loc Ninh commune on successfully organizing its first VFF Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure. He requested that in the coming period, the commune’s VFF continue to strongly innovate propaganda and mobilization activities to consolidate the great national unity bloc; enhance the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism; promote creativity and self-governance among the people; bring patriotic emulation movements into depth; and contribute to building a prosperous and civilized Loc Ninh commune while effectively carrying out social welfare activities.

The Congress elected 58 members to the 1st communal VFF Committee (with seven more seats to be filled during the new tenure). Nguyen Van Khoe was re-elected as Chairman of the commune’s VFF Committee for the new tenure. The Congress also elected two official delegates and one alternate delegate to attend the first VFF Congress of Dong Nai province for the 2025–2030 tenure.
