Keeping the flame of enthusiasm alive, contributing to a prosperous and civilized Dong Nai

On the morning of September 13, at Bien Hung Park (Tran Bien Ward), the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union organized the closing ceremony of the 2025 Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign.

Attending the program were Nguyen Minh Kien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, vice chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai, and secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; and Nguyen Huu Nguyen, member of the Provincial Party Committee, vice chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai, and chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

The summer youth volunteer campaign officially launched at the end of May 2025 with one core program, four sub-campaigns, and the Digital Literacy Movement. This year's campaign took place in the context of the country restructuring its organizational apparatus and implementing the two-tier local government model. As a result, campaign activities were closely aligned with local practical needs.

After more than three months of implementation, the summer volunteer campaign promoted the pioneering, voluntary, and responsible spirit of union members and young people in contributing alongside the Party, authorities, and the people in carrying out tasks in the new phase. Youth Union branches supported the eradication of 9 temporary, dilapidated houses; repaired and built dozens of kilometers of roads; organized 28 free swimming classes; recommended 265 outstanding youth members to the Party for admission consideration; and carried out hundreds of youth projects linked with the socio-economic development tasks of localities. Through the Digital Literacy Movement, Youth Union organizations helped improve digital skills for more than 76,000 people, contributing to advancing the digital transformation process.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Nguyen Minh Kien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, vice chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai, and secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, acknowledged and commended the efforts of Youth Union branches and the enthusiasm and dedication of officials, union members, and young people.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Minh Kien expressed hope that each union member and young person would continue to keep the flame of enthusiasm alive and turn the spirit of pioneering and volunteerism into everyday action. He called on Youth Union branches to continuously innovate their methods, improve the quality of activities, align movements with local development orientations and the needs of the people, and strive to achieve new accomplishments, contributing to building a prosperous, modern, and civilized Dong Nai.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union commended 38 collectives and 56 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2025 Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign and the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign.
