Dong Xoai pursues a grassroots-oriented approach, aiming to build a modern and friendly administration

On the morning of September 19, Dong Xoai ward Party Committee held a conference to review the 1st Party Congress of Dong Xoai ward, term 2025-2030, and to conduct a preliminary review of operations after two months of implementing the two-tier local government model.

According to the report presented at the conference, the 1st Party Congress of Dong Xoai ward, term 2025-2030, took place on August 11-12 in line with the regulations of the Dong Nai Provincial Standing Party Committee, with the participation of 240 official delegates. The Congress covered contents on reviewing the implementation of the Resolution of the 2020-2025 term and defining directions and missions for the 2025-2030 term.

In a spirit of positivity, urgency, seriousness, and high responsibility of the entire ward political system, the organization of the Congress was implemented thoroughly and thoughtfully. The quality of documents and reports prepared for the Congress reflected the collective wisdom and close alignment with the ward’s actual conditions.

Regarding the results of operating under the two-tier local government model, after more than two months, Dong Xoai ward has basically stabilized and followed the right course. The ward People’s Committee has issued working regulations, assigned tasks to agencies and units to ensure stable operations. Administrative reform has been given attention; administrative procedures have been streamlined, avoiding backlogs. Coordination with professional agencies, administrative organizations, and public service units has been maintained smoothly without disruptions during the transition period.

The number of administrative procedures under the ward’s jurisdiction synchronized on the national and provincial administrative procedure resolution systems is 392. From July 1 to September 4, the ward’s Public Administrative Service Center received a total of 1,840 dossiers. The on-time and early resolution rate reached 95%, with no overdue dossiers.

Speaking at the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Council of Dong Xoai ward Vu Van Muoi emphasized: the success of the 1st Party Congress of Dong Xoai ward marked the combined strength of the entire political system and demonstrated the responsibility of cadres and Party members. He also requested that in the coming period, dissemination and mastery of the Congress resolution should be conducted in a practical and effective manner, linked to building and implementing action plans of each unit, suitable to their specific characteristics, conditions, and tasks. At the same time, more efforts should be made to promote communication among all classes of people to ensure the successful implementation of the 1st Congress resolution.

Regarding the two-tier local government model, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Council of Dong Xoai ward Vu Van Muoi called on agencies, units, cadres, civil servants, and public employees to continue striving to overcome difficulties, ensuring uninterrupted operations, focusing on grassroots-level service, and better serving the people, thereby building a modern and friendly administration.
