VTV9 proposed that Dong Nai continue coordinating communication efforts on VTV channels and digital platforms, including coverage before, during, and after the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term. The channel also suggested producing thematic reportages and talk shows highlighting Dong Nai’s key achievements, such as new-style rural development, agricultural and rural advancement, the construction of Long Thanh International Airport, the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway, plans to develop a free trade zone around the airport, and efforts to attract investment into the zone.

The VTV9 delegation also suggested that provincial leaders direct relevant departments and localities to support VTV during its reporting activities in Dong Nai to ensure accurate, timely, and well-directed media coverage about the province.

In her remarks, Ton Ngoc Hanh provided an overview of Dong Nai following the recent administrative merger, highlighting its strengths and priority areas for media collaboration. She noted that Dong Nai spans nearly 13,000 square kilometers, ranks 9th nationwide in terms of population, and has 95 commune-level administrative units. The province boasts comprehensive transport infrastructure with all five modes of transport: road, air, rail, sea, and inland waterways. It is home to the 5,000-hectare Long Thanh International Airport, one of Southeast Asia’s largest projects, with a capacity of 100 million passengers and 5 million tons of cargo annually. Seven national highways totaling around 480 kilometers and ten expressways stretching over 390 kilometers either pass through or are under construction in the province.

In terms of economic scale, Dong Nai is among the major local economies in Vietnam. In the first nine months of 2025, the province’s budget revenue reached nearly VND 58.5 trillion, equivalent to 83% of the target set by the Prime Minister and 79% of the target approved by the provincial People’s Council.

For the 2025-2030 tenure, the Dong Nai provincial Party Organization has set ambitious goals and targets, aspiring to meet several criteria of a centrally-run city.

In recent years, central and local press agencies, including VTV, have actively reported on Dong Nai, helping to encourage, motivate and shape public opinion regarding the province’s political tasks.

Ton Ngoc Hanh assigned the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization to coordinate with  the Provincial People’s Committee in developing content for broadcasting with VTV9. She emphasized the importance of mutual support to promptly deliver accurate and official information to officials, Party members and residents, thereby strengthening trust and mobilizing people’s strength in support of the leadership of the Party Committee and local authorities, contributing to the province’s development.

She also stressed the need for balanced communication across economic, cultural, social, defense-security, and Party-building topics, as well as across all regions of the province. Dissemination should focus on promoting positive information, exemplary models, innovative and effective practices, and individuals who dare to think, act and take responsibility for the common good. This approach, she said, would help spread the positive information, strengthen Dong Nai’s good image to attract greater investment to better care for local people’s lives.
