Dong Nai province launches innovation management activities for 2025

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Vo Hoang Khai emphasized that initiatives are the result of creative labor and serve as a bridge between knowledge and practice. He noted that initiatives not only carry economic and technical significance but also hold great social value, contributing to the development of a creative working environment and inspiring the potential and innovation within each individual and organization.

In recent years, the innovation movement across the province has yielded many positive results. Thousands of initiatives have been recognized and widely implemented, delivering practical benefits to sectors such as education, healthcare, and public administration. Notably, many of these initiatives have helped reduce costs, improve management quality, and enhance community services.

Following the restructuring of administrative units and the implementation of a two-tier local government model, the evaluation and appraisal of initiatives have remained inconsistent across sectors and localities. In response, the Department of Science and Technology advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue Instruction No. 3633/HD-UBND dated August 21, 2025, aimed at improving the management of innovation activities. The department also organized a conference to disseminate the instructions to agencies and units across the province.

At the conference, a representative from the Department of Science and Technology presented the key contents of Instruction No. 3633, including procedures for submitting documentation; the effectiveness and replicability of initiatives; and the scope of influence of scientific topics, projects, and scientific and technological works in Dong Nai Province.
