Dong Nai leaders offer incense in commemoration of 56th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s passing

On the morning of September 12, a working delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee led by Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Ton Ngoc Hanh paid tribute and offered incense at Tran Bien Temple of Literature to commemorate the 56th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s passing (July 21, Year of the Rooster 1969 – July 21, Year of the Snake 2025).

Joining the delegation were members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, as well as leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and localities.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates reverently offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh at the Bai Duong sanctum of Tran Bien Temple of Literature.

At the ceremony, Director of Dong Nai Museum Nguyen Ngoc Yen delivered a tribute, recalling history and expressing deep gratitude for President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the Party’s and the nation’s revolutionary cause. Though Dong Nai never had the honor of welcoming Uncle Ho’s visits, he has always held the most sacred and honorable place in the hearts of the people and soldiers of Dong Nai.

During the years of resistance wars, the Party organization, government, and people of Dong Nai fought heroically, achieving glorious victories such as Binh Gia, La Nga, Phuoc Long, and An Loc, thereby contributing to the historic triumph of the Spring 1975 campaign, which fulfilled the cause of national liberation, reunification, and firmly set the nation on the socialist path as Uncle Ho had wished.

Fifty-six years since Uncle Ho’s passing have also been 56 years during which the entire Party, army, and people have implemented his sacred Testament. Before his revered spirit, the officials, Party members, and people of Dong Nai pledge to continue to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style; to stay united, and to strive for outstanding achievements to welcome the first Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure, with firm determination to build a more prosperous and civilized Dong Nai.
