Following the victory of the August Revolution in 1945, Dong Nai served both as a major rear base and a direct frontline, where the army and people heroically fought to defend every inch of the nation’s border, sky and sacred land. Tens of thousands of brave sons and daughters of this heroic land marched to the battlefield, ready to sacrifice their lives for the homeland. Numerous places and outstanding figures of Dong Nai have gone down in the nation’s history as shining symbols of revolutionary heroism.”

Entering the period of renewal, Dong Nai has been rising strongly, affirming its position as one of the country’s key growth poles and a highlight of innovation, rapid, sustainable and comprehensive development. In particular, on July 1, 2025, following its merger with the former Binh Phuoc province, the new Dong Nai province boasted a wider and more diverse profile - two lands, one converging identity. The integration of Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc is not merely an expansion of administrative boundaries, but more profoundly, an expansion of cultural stature and historical depth.”
