On the morning of September 7, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha led a Government delegation on an unannounced inspection of the construction progress of Phase 1 of Long Thanh International Airport Project. Receiving and accompanying the delegation was Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ho Van Ha.

At the project site, the working delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the construction of the second runway package of Phase 1 of Long Thanh Airport and the passenger terminal construction package.

Speaking at the construction site, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested that the investor, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), urge and direct the contractors to accelerate the construction progress, ensuring the project is basically completed by December 19, 2025, as required by the Prime Minister. In particular, the second runway construction package, although started later, must also be basically completed by that date.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha also presented gifts to encourage the project’s construction forces. Speaking with the officials, engineers, and workers involved in the project, he emphasized that Long Thanh Airport is a key, once-in-a-century project of the country. Therefore, every official, engineer, and worker should feel proud to participate in this special national project, striving to ensure construction progress, quality, and labor safety.
