Dak Lua residents stay united to build prosperous and happy life

The first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dak Lua commune, term 2025-2030, took place on September 21. During the past term, the commune’s VFF Committee and its member organizations effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements; promptly grasped the thoughts, sentiments, and aspirations of the people, thereby strengthening the relationship between the people, the Party, and the State; promoted the strength of great national unity; and carried out advocacy to encourage residents not to engage in deforestation or illegal hunting.

Accordingly, the commune’s VFF Committee took the lead and coordinated in implementing 15 supervisory programs on poverty reduction, social welfare, and policies for people with meritorious services. Notably, under the 2025 national emulation movement “Joining hands to eradicate temporary and dilapidated houses,” the Front mobilized resources to build 51 new houses worth over VND 6.4 billion for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households. In the past two years, the commune’s VFF Committee also worked with socio-political organizations, businesses, and benefactors to implement various social welfare programs worth more than VND 1.6 billion.

At the Congress, 90 official delegates representing local residents reached a consensus to elect 53 members to the VFF Committee of Dak Lua commune for the 2025-2030 term; elect one delegate to attend the first VFF Congress of Dong Nai province, term 2025-2030; and unanimously approve the congress resolution.

At its first congress, the newly elected VFF Committee of Dak Lua commune, term 2025-2030, elected the Standing Board, the Chairperson, and Vice Chairpersons. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Chuyen was re-elected as Chairman of the commune’s VFF Committee for the new term.

In his speech, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee Ha Anh Dung congratulated the success of the first VFF Congress of Dak Lua commune, term 2025-2030, and the newly elected members.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee requested the commune’s VFF Committee to unify will and action, maintain its role as a “direct bridge” between the people and the Party committees and authorities; promote initiative and creativity in the context of streamlined organizational structures; consolidate the great unity bloc right from the grassroots; enhance the effectiveness of supervision and social feedback at the grassroots; apply information technology in operations and actively develop the “digital Front” operation model; and build a team of dedicated grassroots Front officials who are close to the people.
