In recent years, the province's administrative reform efforts have garnered consistent attention from both the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to implement all six components comprehensively. These include institutional reform, administrative procedure reform, organizational reform of the administrative apparatus, civil service reform, public finance reform, and the construction and development of e-government and digital government.

As of now, 99% of administrative dossiers for citizens and organizations have been processed on time. As of August 29, 2025, the province ranked 4th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide in the index measuring service delivery for citizens and businesses through administrative procedures and online public services. In addition, the province's 2024 PAR INDEX ranked 8th out of 63 provinces and cities, marking a notable improvement of 24 places.

The inspection of administrative reform and control of administrative procedures at communes and wards aims to strengthen administrative discipline and order, enhance the sense of responsibility and service attitude among officials, civil servants, and public employees, and reinforce the accountability of heads of agencies, units, and localities in executing administrative reform tasks. Simultaneously, it seeks to regulate administrative procedures and promptly address challenges and obstacles arising after the merger, thereby contributing to the improvement of the province's PAR INDEX, SIPAS, and PAPI indicators in the near future.
