In recent years, Phuoc Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province, has experienced strong development in many fields, demonstrating the new vitality and strong rise of a young, dynamic, and developed urban area. Following the success of the first Phuoc Binh Ward Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, bringing the resolution into reality is becoming a political determination of the entire local political system.

Building a strong political system

Phuoc Binh Ward, with an area of 72.57 km2 and a population of 44,771 people, was established by merging 2 wards of Phuoc Binh, Long Phuoc and 2 communes of Long Giang and Binh Son.

In the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the spirit of solidarity and the efforts of the entire Party organization and the consensus of the people, Phuoc Binh Ward has achieved many important results in various fields. Its economy maintained a high growth momentum, with an average annual production value increase of 14.33%, exceeding the set target. Ngo Thi Luong (residing in Phuoc Binh Ward) shared: "My family has lived in Phuoc Binh Ward for more than 30 years, since the time when it was still wild and sparsely populated. Now, Phuoc Binh has become an urban, civilized, and very clean and beautiful area, and its residents’ lives have significantly improved."

The Party building work has been comprehensively focused on by the Phuoc Binh Ward Party Committee in terms of ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel. The Phuoc Binh Ward government has strived to build a contingent of cadres, civil servants, and public employees with sufficient capacity, prestige, and high responsibility in their work.

With the 2-tier local government model, the distance between the people and functional agencies is shortened, reducing the need to go through many layers. When carrying out administrative procedures at the Phuoc Binh Ward Public Administrative Service Center, Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi said: "During the process of carrying out administrative procedures, I was guided to submit online applications on the National Public Service Portal. I am satisfied because the cadres and civil servants here are friendly and close to the people."

Breakthrough from the resolution

For the 2025-2030 term, the overall goal of Phuoc Binh Ward is: To build a transparent and strong Party and political system; to promote the tradition of solidarity, awaken the aspiration for innovation and creativity; to strive to build Phuoc Binh Ward into a service and commercial center, aiming for a smart urban area. It is expected to develop the economy with a double-digit growth as directed by the provincial government on the basis of improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness. Ongoing efforts must be made to promote innovation, digital transformation, administrative reform, and effectively exploit potential, geographical location and urban infrastructure advantages to develop the economy rapidly and sustainably in the direction of industry - services - trade.

To realize the set goals, immediately after the Phuoc Binh Ward Party Congress, the ward Party Committee and authorities promptly translated the resolution into programs and plans suitable to the practical situation. Socio-economic development goals and the building of a strong political system were synchronously implemented, creating an enthusiastic emulation atmosphere among the entire population.

Trade, services - growth drivers

Phuoc Binh is the cashew processing capital of the province, located near fruit-growing areas, with a favorable foundation for developing processing industries linked to raw material areas. The entire ward currently has 514 active businesses and 1,364 individual business establishments, mainly in trade, services, cashew processing, agricultural products, transportation - warehousing services, food and beverage, accommodation, and convenience stores. Phuoc Binh Ward aims to become the Service - Trade Center of the Northeast region of Dong Nai province, associated with smart urban development, modern trade, digital economy, green growth, and high-quality services.

In the 2025-2030 period, Phuoc Binh Ward strives to increase the total state budget revenue in the area by an average of 10% annually. The average annual growth rate of the total product value in the area is 10%. Annually, at least 350 new businesses, cooperatives, and business households will be established; 100% of businesses and business households will apply information technology in business.

Based on identifying potential and competitive advantages for economic development, Phuoc Binh has focused on comprehensive and sustainable development. The locality has made efforts and implemented many solutions to carry out administrative reform, improve the investment environment, and create all conditions to support businesses in production and business.
