Bu Dang commune VFF sets out 6 programs and 17 targets for the new tenure

On the afternoon of September 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Bu Dang commune held its 1^st Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure. Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province, attended and directed the congress.

Bu Dang commune was established on the basis of merging Minh Hung commune, Doan Ket commune, and Duc Phong township, with a population of 32,145 people.

In the past tenure, the work of communication, mobilization, and gathering of various social strata was implemented synchronously by Bu Dang commune VFF, contributing to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.

Patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns such as “All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas” and “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” continued to be widely deployed, bringing practical results and spreading throughout the community. The movement “For the common good, even prime land is donated” received strong consensus from the people. The Great National Unity Festival was organized in 100% of residential areas. Bu Dang commune VFF coordinated in holding 14 meetings between voters and National Assembly deputies and People’s Council deputies at all levels. The grassroots conciliation work was also effectively carried out with the coordination of Bu Dang commune VFF.

In addition, Bu Dang commune VFF, together with member organizations, mobilized more than 3.8 billion VND from the community, providing interest-free loans to 321 poor and disadvantaged households. The movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor – No one is left behind” received support from the whole society, with more than 2,200 gifts worth 1.1 billion VND distributed.

The nationwide emulation movement “Eradicating makeshift and dilapidated houses” mobilized support to construct 40 houses for poor and disadvantaged households, with a total value of nearly 2.8 billion VND.

Residential areas promoted the effectiveness of community’s self-management role, with outstanding models such as “Bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe residential areas,” “Security surveillance cameras,” and “Green-clean-beautiful Sundays,” enthusiastically embraced by people from all walks of life. Social media platforms such as Zalo, Fanpage, and Facebook were effectively utilized to promptly exchange information, implement tasks, and grasp the people’s situation in the spirit of “ staying close to the people, attentive to the people.”

For the 2025–2030 tenure, the VFF of Bu Dang Commune has set out 6 programs and 17 specific targets, focusing on continuing to promote its role and position, uniting and gathering people from all social strata, mobilizing all resources, strengthening social consensus, consolidating people’s trust in the Party, and working together with the Commune Party Organization and government to successfully achieve the targets and tasks set out in the Commune Party Congress Resolution – building Bu Dang into an increasingly civilized and modern homeland.

Speaking at the congress, Ha Anh Dung highly appreciated the programs, specific targets, key tasks, and fundamental solutions put forward. He requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the commune maintain unity in thought and action, uphold its role as a direct “bridge” between the people and Party committees and authorities, and promote initiative and creativity in the context of a streamlined organizational apparatus. He also emphasized the need to enhance the effectiveness of supervision and grassroots-level social criticism, apply information technology, and actively build the “Digital Front” model in all activities.

With the spirit of “Solidarity – Democracy – Consensus – Innovation – Development”, the congress elected 64 members to the 1^st VFF Committee of Bu Dang commune, tenure 2025–2030, and selected 2 delegates to attend the higher-level congress. Bui Thi Thuy Kieu was elected Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Bu Dang commune for the 2025–2030 tenure.
