During the past term, Binh Phuoc ward VFF Committee played an active role in consolidating the great national unity bloc, enhancing social consensus among the people. Many campaigns and patriotic movements were effectively carried out, such as the movement “For the common good, people are willing to donate even their prime land,” under which local residents voluntarily donated about 131.8 hectares of land worth over VND 1.05 trillion. The ward’s VFF Committee also mobilized more than VND 3.8 billion to support disaster-hit communities in northern Vietnam, and contributed over VND 1.1 billion to the “For the Poor” Fund. Movements to build cultural lifestyle in residential areas, linked with self-governance in public security, environmental sanitation and mutual economic support, were also expanded.
In addition, the ward’s VFF Committee organized 1,302 communication and mobilization sessions with the participation of more than 64,440 people. To strengthen community bond and engagement, the Committee has actively applied information technology, using social media platforms such as fanpages, Zalo and Facebook to carry out communications and gather public opinion.
