A meaningful and humane policy-making

Celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, the joy and excitement of people nationwide are multiplied as the entire population receives 100,000 VND each from the Party and State - an extremely meaningful and humane gift.

On August 29, 2025, the Government issued Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP on giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2). Right after this policy was announced, on social media platforms, people expressed their joy, pride, and emotion, because the gift is not only about its material value but, more importantly, it consistently demonstrates the Party and State's viewpoint: “Outside of the interests of the people and the country, the Party has no other aim.”

The figure of over 10 trillion VND in funding for this gift-giving campaign shows the great determination and effort of the Party and State. All Vietnamese people, regardless of age, ethnicity, or religion, receive the same gifts, which further ignites and strengthens national sentiment and fraternal affection. While 100,000 VND may not hold much material significance for economically well-off families, it could be a day's worth of wandering for a child selling lottery tickets, a full tank of gas for delivery drivers, or a small gift that a worker can buy for their children after work as the new school year is about to begin.

It must be affirmed that this is not the first time people have received gifts. Throughout the development process, the Party and State, through many policies and guidelines, have given meaningful "gifts" to many different groups, in many fields, and at various times. With this gift-giving campaign for the entire population, in the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day and in the context of the country standing at the threshold of a new era, people are even more excited and confident in the future of the country, while also fostering a greater sense of awareness and responsibility to contribute positively to the development of their localities and the nation.

A good and timely policy creates great encouragement among the people nationwide, contributing to crushing false and hostile arguments that exploit policies and guidelines to distort them; and at the same time, it is a strong affirmation: The people’s aspirations have been and will always be heard, in harmony with the Party's will, and in all policies and decisions today.
