Xuan Hoa holds workshop to contribute ideas for local economic development

On August 22, Xuan Hoa Commune People’s Committee in Dong Nai province organized a workshop on the theme “Orientation for Xuan Hoa Commune’s socio-economic development for the 2025–2030 period.”

Xuan Hoa Commune was formed through the merger of three former communes: Xuan Hoa, Xuan Hung, and Xuan Tam. Following the merger, Xuan Hoa spans nearly 306 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 78,500. The commune benefits from a well-developed transportation system and possesses numerous advantages for development. Existing and planned industrial parks and clusters provide favorable conditions for modern, high value-added economic growth.

At the workshop, representatives from departments, agencies, corporations, enterprises, infrastructure investors, as well as local officials, exchanged ideas and discussed issues related to the commune’s economic development.

Accordingly, the commune needs to clearly identify its potentials and advantages, compare them with neighboring localities and major economic centers within the province, in order to formulate appropriate investment attraction strategies. At the same time, it should develop a list of industrial and service sectors with investment potential in the coming period, taking into account supporting service industries.

Simultaneously, the commune aims to create favorable conditions for local enterprises in production and business activities, moving towards establishing a local business association to connect strengths and cooperate for development.

Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Xuan Hoa Commune People’s Council, Ta Quang Truong, stated that the opinions contributed by agencies and enterprises have been acknowledged and studied by the commune as a basis for formulating policies and solutions for local economic development. The commune will make every effort to fully tap into its potentials and advantages while strengthening connections with other localities to maximize development opportunities.

In this process, the locality hopes to continue receiving support from the province, departments, and cooperation from the business community, contributing to building Xuan Hoa into a modern and sustainable commune.
