Delivering her directive speech, Deputy Secretary Huynh Thi Hang praised and acknowledged the achievements of the Thong Nhat Commune Party Committee during the last term.

She agreed with the results and shortcomings candidly pointed out by Thong Nhat commune in the political report. Hang urged the new-term Party Committee to focus on key tasks. These include strengthening Party building and the political system, effectively translating resolutions into practice, thoroughly disseminating Party guidelines to officials and members, and fully mobilizing local resources and advantages to achieve sustainable economic growth. She also highlighted the importance of promoting clean and high-tech agriculture, ensuring social welfare, and preventing poverty relapse. The commune was urged to review its new master plan, aiming to become a model new-style rural commune during the 2025-2030 term.

Huynh Thi Hang noted that as the two-tier local government model has been in operation since July 1, 2025, the Party Committee is required to promptly review, adjust, and assign officials to fulfill the tasks of the next phase. She put an emphasis on accelerating administrative reform and digital transformation, simplifying procedures to best serve residents and businesses, fostering start-up and innovation activities, and driving the commune toward achieving its congress resolution targets and building a model new-style rural commune.

On behalf of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Huynh Thi Hang presented the congress with a floral arrangement and a banner from the Provincial Party Executive Committee, which reads: “Building a pure, strong, and comprehensive Party organization and political system; promoting socio-economic development; and improving people’s well-being.”
